  1. This was posted on the Keypublishing Forum from the leading Spitfire historian Peter Arnold today: I am very excited at the prospect of seeing this early griffon Spitfire up where she belongs! And I can think of at least one other Dog who will be salivating uncontrollably with this news... Also, for those who are unaware who Air Leasing are: http://www.airleasing.co.uk/ Richard Grace wanting a new toy to follow in his late father's footsteps? Excellent. :thumbsu:
  2. So for the first time in what seems like ages, i've reserved this evening for some action in the air. Whoop! SID old bean, perhaps we could have that DF after all?

it was a good show, I got the chance to root for both of you, between the two matches, :-)

  3. Well, what a jolly good show! Highlights for me were the F-15E, French Alpha Jet, Curtiss Hawks and of course the Spitfire Finale. On top of that we were treated with simply perfect weather. Not too hot, just enough breeze (in the right direction), some puffy clouds and enough moisture in the air for the F-15 to display it's 'portable cloud' and 'creamers'! If that wasn't enough, I got to share the experience with the Dogz! ~S~ Guys! (Nice to finally meet you Rog) Also, I must add what charming families you all have! They certainly appeared to enjoy themselves which was great. Oh, and cracking pics Nick, top banana!
  4. Hey, that's my brother!
  5. Different Aircraft old boy! Up until now the only airworthy Mk I has been AR213, which we are all familiar with and is listed static tomorrow. This example, P9374, has been under restoration for a while and is I believe the first of three more Mk I Spits to come out of Area 51 (Historic Flying Limited). Another one recently departed DX on a trailer to another destination and I believe featured on some Monster Moves program or summat. Exciting Spitfire times for sure!
  6. Miss D apparently arrived at DX and will be static tomorrow. Also the newest MkI Spitfire off the production line test flew yesterday and may also be on static. Pics here http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=108052&page=30 She's a beauty!
  7. Click here to download September Apologies for there not being an August. However, I have just completed and uploaded this month's edition.
  8. Latest and last participants list now online: Click here Saturday looks good, two Vampires added and the Patrouille de France! Shame Miss D is Sunday only, but otherwise it looks like a reasonably balanced line-up. Just can't wait to see/feel/hear that Strike Eagle... Whooooosh!
  9. Yes, Fenrir and I plan to be there too. Weather permitting of course! Us young dogz don't like getting our fur wet. ahem. I'll make the bulk order for fish and chips now, so it's ready for us on the tank bank

  11. Hey Todd, I have a slightly older version of fraps: 2.99.9 (8123) and I am running it on Win7 64bit. I don't think i've tried capturing from a track in UP3 yet, but it works fine with stock 4.101. Does it work for you on a stock install? BB

  13. ~S~ Chaps, Thought you might find this article interesting, I certainly did! It's Big Beautiful Doll pilot Rob Davies putting into words, the events of that Sunday evening at Flying Legends. A true professional through and through: I crashed a vintage plane
  14. Mama and SisterBear now back in the emerald Isle with PapaBear, alas I am working away this coming week so will still not be able to fly for a while chaps! :( Hope you're all well.

  15. Can it get any better?... EPIC RUSSIAN MEALTIME! Click here
  16. When will it be ready Nick? "Two Weeks... Be Sure" Seriously, looking forward to seeing this, I have quite a soft spot for the 17. I'm guessing you've decided on a colour scheme mate?
  17. Why did he feel the need to repeat almost everything he said? Oh that's right, because he's a colossal F*cktard!
  18. http://dangerdogz.co...h__1#entry89971 I subscribed to this guy's channel, certainly makes for entertaining viewing!

Salute mate! Thanks for the fun :)

  20. Thanks for letting us know Pooka. It's nice to hear he's still got that gritty determination! I can almost hear it now, he'll be having a go at us for being so damn soppy!

    Salute To Bg

Jim, I've not known you even half as long as some of these other fine gentlemen. But the short time that I have and the banter that we've shared will stay with me. I can still hear your distinctive Scots-Canadian twang now as I type this in silence! I'll never forget when I first saw a tartan painted spitfire, a man that flys dressed like that deserves the utmost respect indeed! Thank you for bringing so many of us like minded and equally crazy people together. The DangerDogz to me, like so many others, is more than just an online flightsim squad, it's a bloody institution. Blairgowrie, I salute you!
