Cap 10

From the album: Headcorn Aerodrome (26.6.11)

Sweet but chubby looking French aerobatic type. It frequently puts on a good show.

Tiger Moth G-ACDC

From the album: Headcorn Aerodrome (26.6.11)

One of the most famous Tiger Moths around, it is the third one off the production line and the second oldest in the world.
You can have trial flights in this baby, need to save some cash...

Turbulents

From the album: Headcorn Aerodrome (26.6.11)

As operated by the Tiger Club, they do all sorts of classic airshow acts, like balloon bursting, flour bombing and limbo. Great fun to watch!
http://en.wikipedia....lason_Turbulent

Stampe SV.4 G-BPLM

From the album: Headcorn Aerodrome (26.6.11)

The Stampe has become very popular at Headcorn in recent years.
There were four present on this visit and they often perform close formation circuits.
10. Happy Canada Day to you all! A question, is it a day of celebration on the same level as 4th of July for your cousins across the border?
11. They've started opening the shipping containers to reveal Mustangs 'Fragile but Agile' and 'February'. I wish someone would deliver P-51s to my front door! what's in the box? - clicky here!
12. Interesting read here: Single engine B-17 landing - click here

14. So, I came off my mountain bike at weekend doing single track through a forest. Think i've cracked a couple of ribs and strained my shoulder. Whoops! Who put that tree there! lol

15. I'd love to mate but having just got back from holiday and with the whole legends weekend the week after, money is a little tight to say the least! Although it would be good to see the tbirds, I'll get my jet fix at shoreham hopefully, with the Vulcan and hunter confirmed. It's a shame the Gripen is a cancel at Waddo actually, that may have swayed it for me! Sitting at Headcorn right now getting a bit of a fix, tastiest things so far have been Stampes, moths and a stearman, but as you know, it's a great place to just chillax with weather this glorious!
16. Thanks FT for tonight and Jedi last night for hosting and all the Dogz i've caught up with again after a few weeks absent! Feels good to be back and in the cockpit flying with you mad lot ;-)

17. Same here, and I agree wholeheartedly, best M$ product in a long time. As a user of OS X (work), some of the features of Win7 seemed, hmmm... somehow familiar, but very welcome all the same! You won't look back mate.
18. Personally I preferred the two-ship display. It was more dynamic and I hope they still switch to the line astern / close in box formation like they used to, that was impressive to watch. For sure, whatever they do it'll be great to watch. Not long now chaps!!!!
19. When it was at Duxford I stupidly chose not to walk through it, because I thought, ah there'll be another time, hoping to go to the states on a warbird trip in the future. How wrong I was ( this is terribly sad, but glad no lives lost.
20. Doesn't she look goooooorrrrrgeous!!!!! Can't wait to see her next month!
21. Off on holiday to Ireland for two weeks, explore the country and visit the family. Don't know how i'll cope without IL2! ;-) See you Dogz on my return! (At which point I expect UP3 to be perfect ;-))

22. Attn Calendar lovin Dogz! June is now in the vault. ;-)

23. Well chaps, I can't believe how fast this year is flying by (pardon the pun!). It's June already! And this month we have a screenshot by yours truly, which 'i done' a few years ago and just rediscovered. It was tagged 'Down with a blood red nose', and like last month leans towards an axis flavour as a Ruski Hurri sucumbs to an ace 109. June-thumb by twostix, on Flickr Along with the usual resolutions, I have also included 5040x1050 for all you lucky multi-monitor bar stewards! Click here to download!
