This engine is earmarked to power the original Yak 1 one being restored over here by the Historic Aircraft Collection/Retrotec. Would love to hear this in the flesh! Not too long ago I was at Yeovilton Airday and a SAA 747 did a flyby ten minute display where the pilot threw this enormous machine around at low level, flaps down, 60 degrees of bank, no worries. So this is the Curtiss Pusher from the business side.
