I actually owned one of these in this exact color. I also owned a wagon version as my first car it was blue.

Meldon Viaduct is nice, but the issue would be the landscape!

It'd just be weird to create the bridge, balancing on its center pillar!

And creating the landscape would be way too much work, sorry!

Ah!  FT, thats a very good point that I have completely overlooked, doh!

Went there a couple of weeks ago on our way back from Cornwall.  I know Okehampton a bit - it's an inoffensive little market town on the northern edge of Dartmoor - but I'd never visited the station, only seen the viaduct in the distance.

Meldon quarry provided around 90% of all the ballast that britains railways were laid on and despite the line being closed to passenger traffic years ago tjhe quarry carried on which meant it was spared much of the official vandalism our railway system has been subjected to for the last fifty years.

Stinking diesels don't usually float my boat but.....

"Aha!  An engine for FT!"  So we had to go on an explore up the cycle path.

The bridge is about two hundred metres beyond this point and is rather lovely!

Also found this on Youtube;  a visit to the bridge by some very naughty boys and girls early one spring morning.

As an ex-head banger I'd like to say "good on 'yer".  As a middle-aged parent I want to scream "Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!" :P
