Hey there Trout! As for Hyperlobby. Look through the players list for the "DD_" in front of someones name. If you see one, click on it and add it to your friends list. Then you can pick "display player game information" & join the server they are flying on. The first thing I do is check our TeamSpeak though, to see who's around. Then if no one is on TS I'll get on the TS for the server I join through HL. Thus if you find me there, but I'm not on our coms, check the one for the server I'm on so we can communicate. Some nights it's hit or miss, but keep looking & you'll run across one of us there. Oh, and if your around NOW. BA is hosting COOPs as I type. Get on the Dogz TeamSpeak & they can give you the address to join. I will be joining anyone who's left in about an hour or so.

Looks like that storm pounded ya. Up to now ours has stayed up the mountains, but we got our first valley snow yesterday. And since I live on the foot of said mountains we had a few inches that stuck around. Soon I assume we will get hit hard too. Just hope it's only a foot or so at a time, I hate it when we get buried like you do.

Mine would love that. Her Christmas present two years ago was a special edition Ruger 10/22 with a 22" stainless steel barrel instead of the standard 19" long one. Then I got her a Kahr 9mm carry pistol for Valentines this year.

Preliminary testing of new munitions for the next "police action" the US becomes involved with. Here we can see the attachment points between aircraft & munition being checked.

It's the fact that you have three balls that keeps distracting them.

It is fun & in reality it's far less dangerous than many other recreations. Plus it's fascinating in many ways. Seeing the way different geological forces create different deposits, the vast changes in geological make-up from one area to another within the mountain, what fault lines look like deep within the rock & hydrology. There was one place in this mine we came across a steep incline shaft that was flooded to just a couple feet from where we stood. Yet perhaps 15 feet away was another incline running in the same direction & it was bone dry. Strange indeed. Stuff like that enormous stope also fascinate me. When you realize that when it was dug out in the 1800's they were still using candles for light and a hand-jacks & sledge hammer (hand held drill. One man holds the drill while another smacks it with the hammer, then he gives it a little twist to dislodge debris. Repeat over & over & over.) to drill each dynamite hole. Then they'd move in with a good-ol #2 shovel to muck the rock into the ore cars after each blast. They also meticulously stacked waste rock into enormous walls & such to create level floors at main work & hoist areas. Just absolutely amazing, the amount of back-breaking work those old timers did & how endlessly inventive they were.

I got to spend part of the weekend hiding underground again. Thought I'd post-up a few select pics. This stope with its low ceiling is definitely not for the claustrophobic. But this on carved out in the 1800's is huge with lots of room to move around. The ore-body ran at a steep angle & it was fun exploring to the bottom. Then you turn around & realize you've got to climb that steeply inclined track back up. Back at the main level, I took a shot looking at the stope as it continues above the tunnel we entered through. Warning: Below are pics of my mug. I found an engine to haul out the ore-cars I filled up. Unfortunately the batteries have been dead for many, many, years dagnabit! BTW, the group decided to leave me behind to support this collapsing beam & my arms are getting really frig'n tired. Don't suppose anyone wants to step in & take my place?

Nah....for IL2 you need it set-up like a gyroscope so it can flip you vertical, inverted, ext.
