ok, I take back my "woo hoo".
Fuck you Oleg for this crap.
Buy a dvd copy of the game and all is does is take me to Steam to download.
Oh, and no instructions...just a flimsy piece of paper in the package saying "full length digital manual is accessible and downloadable from the game disc"...but it isn't.
Oleg, you're an incompetent asshole.
Seven years and this is the best you can do?
spectacular, simply spectacular.
Well done guys. Very, very nice.
Love the "toughened by TOAD" pic.
Of course, this will be forever known as your Brokeback Mountain experience...but still, pretty amazing!
Wow...has it been seven years already?
You know, before I met you lot, I did not have grey hair.
Nor had I known of the joys of sheep...so it is not all bad.
UP THE DOGZ!
I like how you see this beautiful 2 seater silver Audi pull up.
You're expecting some hot blond or rock star hedgefund manager to get out.
Door opens...and Crash gets out.
Bear: was wondering the same thing about control cables...except at how fast he was able to right the plane's course. And it didn't appear (emphasis on the word 'appear') that the fuselage was cut.
And of course it is all 'guess work' by us amateurs at this time.
Mind boggling that he was able to get out safe at such a low altitude.
When I did my P51 flight last week, I was in a chute. The pilot said that if it was anywhere near 1000 feet and we had to get out, he'd simply crash land it as the chute wouldn't open in time. Yet this guy made it. Happy for that. Looked like he was around 500 feet tops.
Like one of those goofy BASE jumpers.
Thanks Jim...best view yet.
Now this is pure speculation but:
It almost looks like the P51 pilot panicked. Back (bottom) fuselage by the tail wheel was hit but no control surfaces damaged. He jettison's canopy within seconds.
P51 is bumped 'off course' but he is still able to correct the course immediately so flight controls work...
Plane flies quite nice and straight for a while before he bails out.
I'm shocked how low he was before actually jumping. Surprised he lived.
LANCASTER! Nice.
Love the group shot. What a good looking group of guys.
Looking forward to making my every-other-year return next year.
Never seen a p38 fly...very sweet.
