  1. I still say he’s a Time Lord.
  2. Hmmm. The location where they say Chancellor Merkel landed is at Zero degrees Longitude and Zero degrees Latitude. A coincidence? I think not! So it is most likely a secret base of some sort, just as BSword mentioned. Lisbon must be the Code Name for the base. There is no way to prove it, but this secret base is almost certainly part of Blairgowrie’s growing empire. I wonder what BG wanted to talk to Merkel about? Has anyone been tracking the exchange rate for the Euro and the Canadian Dollar?
  3. Blairgowrie brand honey would be most welcome. But I’m going to hold out for a couple of bottles of Blairgowrie brand Mead.
  4. Some of those pictures show a good sized antenna mast. Those are usually associated with fairly sophisticated communication antennas. I guess that when you run a Global Empire, you need sophisticated communications.
  5. Goldie was funny, but Judy Carne .........
  6. Why women can’t sleep? There is a very simple answer to that. They have a Guilty Conscience. IE: Remorse caused by feeling responsible for some offense. A feeling of deep regret (usually for some misdeed)
  7. I respectfully disagree Perfesser. I still believe that BG is a Time Lord.
  8. I’m glad to hear that you and your crew are safe. But I am sorry to hear about your truck. Doesn’t your employer supply you with a vehicle?
  9. ~S~ DT I’ve got a 24 inch Dell widescreen and these are the setting that I use. [window] Width=1680 Height-1050 Colourbits=32 Depthbits=24 Stencilbits=8 Changescreenres=1 Fullscreen=1 Drawifnotfocused=0 Enableresize=0 Enableclose=1 Saveaspect=0 Use3renders=0 I now do all my flying in Wide View, so I have generous peripheral vision. I’ve lost nothing in the way of visibility, I fly using the instruments rather than the speed bar and can see them very clearly. I use Normal View only when I want a little bit of zoom when attacking ground targets. Gun Sight View is so magnified as to be of no use to me.
  10. ~S~ BG It's still that cold there??? We were 28 C (82 F) here today.
  11. I’m surprised he’s using electric motors with an RC aircraft that big. Are RC gas engines not allowed in the UK?
  12. Yes indeed, JP is well dressed, well groomed and he projects a serious but pleasant demeanor. He looks the very image of a proper gentleman. The picture must have been Photo Shopped.
  13. I’ve heard that there are areas in France that they can’t even use for farm land. When they plow the fields, they can unearth munitions and even hot spots of Mustard Gas. We have a similar problem here in Egypt with land mines. In most of the Sinai, it’s not safe to get off the hard top roads because of the mines left over from the various Arab-Israeli wars. Then there is the El Alamein battle field. When I got here, I was really hoping that I would be able to get out and explore the real battle field, not just the museum. But there are still somewhere in the neighborhood of Three Million mines out there. A month doesn’t go by without a story in the news papers about some poor Bedouin getting killed or injured while tending to his flock of goats.
  14. Earthquakes, Volcanoes and now a large Meteor. Blairgowrie Enterprises is obviously up to something.
  15. God love the Brits. They know how to fight wars in a civilized manner. You sit in a Pub and drink until the enemy arrives. Cheers
  16. It seems to think that the nearest serve to Cairo is Maidenhead, 3,350 miles away! I don’t really believe that Maidenhead is the nearest server. But what do I know. Anyway, I get a: Grade of B – Very Good Packet Loss 0% Ping 85 ms Jitters 5 ms I guess that's not too bad considering that I'm connected to the Internet using string made from camel hair.
  17. Excellent tutorial. It immediately brought to the surface an issue I had never considered. I can’t open the Logitech LCD Manager for the simple reason that I don’t have a Logitech folder in my C: \Program Files. My Hard Drive died in 2008, and I don’t remember if I ran the G15 Keyboard CD again after I got it fixed. So which option would you guys recommend? Going to the Logitech Web Site and seeing if they still have updates for an old first generation keyboard? Or should I root around and try to find the CD that came with the keyboard? Thanks for all the effort.
  18. I've got a stock 4.07m, will that help?
  19. ~S~ T_O_A_D You’re up awfully early mate.
  20. Yup, then you can apply the 2.01 patch from our vault, then the 2.01 hotfix also from the vault. ~S~ Rog, Is there a MD5 SUMs for the UP 2.0n files? The only one I see is the one for UP 2.1 Or is one really needed for 2.0n??
  21. I'm using XP, but all that shows up in the G15 display screen is the Logitech name. I've confirmed that I've got the box checked for the G15, so I'm not sure what's going on. I've checked the box for G15 in TS3. How do I enable it in the G15?
  22. I've checked the Plugin box for the G15, up I still don't see anything. I've got a first generation G15, is there anything I need to with it to get it to work?
  23. Nope, mostly expensive clothing, jewelry or the latest electronic gizmo that proclaims the wealth of your family and does credit to you as the Head of the Household. Remember, males over in this part of the world are a privileged elite. As Allah intended. As for trees, over here trees are expected to work for a living. Whether its dates, olives or some sort of fruit, trees are expected to pull their weight. You will find some shade trees on the grounds of the more expensive Villas, but that is again just a way of displaying your wealth. But even the most luxurious Villas will have Date Trees. It’s ingrained into the Arab culture.
  24. ~S~ DoubleTap Mate, you’re going about this all wrong. Your wife should be the one taking care of these petty and mundane household tasks. You really should consider sending your wife over here to Egypt for about a month. Once she’s here, I’ll arrange for her to meet some of my Egyptian friend’s wives. They’ll gladly help her learn about her wifely duties
