Dino
Pictures of me and the missus at Manston etc... We are really lucky to have a neighbour who owns the flying school at Manston airdrome. The Battle of Britain flight often use it for repairs and refueling. As they use his hanger he gets to see everything up close and invites me to come. I have also put in pics of his aircraft. The Delfin wreck was left there and was never collected by a foreign pilot. The Delfin in the hanger was his fathers but he never flew it after crashing as a pilot in the Red Arrows display group so its for sale. The Erco is owned by a couple in their 70,s abd flown often.- Album created by Dino

FlightSim Chair
This is the Flight Sim Chair I built using a frame i welded and a seat from a hovaround wheel chair. its all on casters and folds up. The rudder pedals slide in and fold up under the chair. the X52, mouse and keybard are plugged into a usb hub mounted to the side. the throttle and stick move in and out to enter and exit the chair. Its alot of fun. I even mounte a drink holder to the armrest. I would like to add some kind of rumblepack to the stick and throttle next.- Album created by Birdawg

Headcorn Aerodrome (26.6.11)
A few pictures from my local airfield, the former RAF Lashenden (A prototype ALG in 1943).
It was briefly home to 421 and 403 Squadrons of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) flying the Spitfire IX before, on 17 April 1944 the 354th Fighter Group arrived from RAF Boxted.
Wikipeadia has a pretty good entry on its history:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lashenden_%28Headcorn%29_Airfield
It is now one of the busiest GA airfields in the south of England, offering pleasure flights, skydiving, warbird experiences (AT-6) and the Tiger Club (www.tigerclub.co.uk) along with a fantastic little museum of many interesting artifacts, wrecks and relics of downed aircraft and such from the WW2 period.
Oh and lovely Cafe!
I grew up with this place on my doorstep, and still love going there to chill out and imagine what it was like nearly 70 years ago...- Album created by BluBear
