To the immense delight of my parents I have decided to scrap my Iran/North Iraq travel plans and will instead spend a month and a half in India and Nepal for just slightly more money. Leaving in the first few days of October

Good thinking on your part and Mom & Dads.

Since I don't use it much anymore, I'll stop renting my other apartment in the capital and move back to my home town for the time being, where I'm at most of the time anyway. This means my PC is moving back as well, this weekend. Which in turn means I'll finally be active a few times per week again as before

so i have a 6cm long and 2cm wide not wound but HOLE 5cm deep right above my butt crack, which should completely fill up in about 6 weeks but I hope I'll be able to get back to my flying rig before that as I get better. Damn I miss the virtual skies

Ah, Tramadol. I use a fair bit of that myself. I hope you'll get some help with your condition soon, sounds awful!

Rox, I work in wound care so completely understand where you are coming from... I truly hope all has been resolved?!
-
yeah the acute infection is gon and I'm pain free, but I'll have to do a surgery to stop this from recurring. not a big surgery but open wound healing that lasts 8 weeks. though you're up and around as normal by the end of the first 2 weeks

Just dropping by to say hi and hope you guys are enjoying the summer as much as I am. I'm at home for 2 days now and then off to a week long music festival to enjoy music I love and other things *cough*. Sadly I won't be able to fly until late august, but I look forward to getting back in the pit then Cheers.

just bougth 1l of plumb rakija, also known by the name Satan, for those brave enough to try at Duxford That's plumb as in fruit, not as in plumbing, though I have no doubt it could be used efficiently for that purpose as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakia

Dont forget your student card. It will save you money

I want a Tamaskan dog. But I don't have the time needed to commit to it. Woe is me
-
That is very responsible of you Rox. As a former dog owner, you get out what you put into it. It is not fair to the dog to be cooped up in the house with no interaction with people. That is why I had to wait for 15 years before I got a dog. Now that my dog has passed it will be another 15 years due to heart break

Beautiful dogs! I used to have a chocolate Huskey many years ago, and she was a fantastic dog! I think I may have found a new breed I like...
-
yeah, basically they're rather demanding dogs, need lotts of excercise and absolutely hate to be left alone for longer periods of the day. Tamaskans are beautiful though, I wanted a wolfdog at first, the czechoslovakian breed, but it is MUCH more demanding, you really have to devote your life to that "dog" in its first 3 years to make it anything like a "normal" pet. So I'm going for a Tamaskan instead, the most wolf like dog breed there is, with zero wolf content. One...

so I finally tell my bank to retrieve my long lost pin for my visa card, which I didn't know for more than a year now since I only used the card for online shopping and I didn't need the pin for that. And I get the pin yesterday. And I check my account balance today. And I find 180 euros on an account that I thought had only change on it! Thank you easter bunny

CloD has completely annihilated my willpower. Just bought an extra 2Gb of RAM. And after buying a new gtx 560 yesterday, I now have just enough money to go out today and for a bus ticket home. I am not a human being anymore

Well, it looks the eurofighter's combat debut may be imminent with the passing of the Libya no-fly zone decision. Let's hope they fight better than they look...

Let's hope someone else beside the US picked up the work load. How about Saudi Arabia and Egypt? They have lots of things that explode.

So when exactly is the duxford air show? Because in the "dates announced" thread there's like a lot of different dates and it's confusing the hell out of me.

Is on antibiotics for the first time in 22 years of his 23 year long life. had a harsh cold for 5 weeks which started affecting my bronchi. It's a good poison, I felt better after only 2 pills, still a week to go though.

is enjoying Enemy Coast Ahead that Arthur sent me. I especially like the story of a german bomber crew who were flying home over Wales, got to the sea and then to some land again and thought they had passed the channel into France and landed. It was Devon though
