  1. Ok, I have now registered and am on their forums. So I will try and get an update as soon as possible. Does anyone have any preferences for a map or scenario?
  2. No, I am up here on a research trip for the Priory as our mission goal is to save fallen women and I have heard that northern women fall over easier than southern ones..... On the doors front FT, if it is the doors that cause an issue I will of course remove it with no problem, sadness yes, problem no. Many thanks for all your testing and time, by the way. Regards Friar, sent from Crashes, "ooup north"
  3. Hello, I have this reply back from Thor Hi! Like yourself, RL got in the way here - hence my late reply. PM BoneHead over at BFs forums or send me a PM over there with your account so that we can sort out any problems. We're happy to fly fighters only, whilst we do enjoy flying bombers a lot - I wouldn't mind a change once a while. Besides, there are many other BFs pilots that will definitely join us if we decided on doing this. I'll start a thread about this on our forums. This is what has been posted on their forum
  4. Hello, I have had a reply from T}{or over at 242 to my post about anyone wanting a match. He has replied to say they might be interested. As they are a dedicated bomber units I have suggested the following; Anyway my idea for the match would be, as you are a dedicated bomber unit, how about we set a map up so one side picks a bomber attack, the other fighters to intercept. The side using the bombers can choose how many of its pilots it uses in bombers, the other being escorts. Points will be placed in ground targets. The more bombers you fly the more chance of getting points, the more chance of getting hit with a lesser fighter cover. The other side has to intercept and stop the bombers getting through. As mentioned before, we swap sides and roles and have another go. At the end we add all the points together for bragging rights or just say cheers for a great night of fun! I know we have people who can lead bombers / enjoy the discipline so thought that might work. When I get more news I will update. DD_Friar

  11. (Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I was not sure where to post it) Salute, Over at the Dangerdogz (www.dangerdogz.com) we are about to make HSFX our "Official" version. We would like to challenge another squad to a match to celebrate. We were thinking of 2 x 45-60 min dog fights with defined plane sets and ground targets, take the scores at the end of a session, then after a quick "comfort break" swap sides and do it again. We are made up of mainly UK with a healthy smattering of North American, Canadian and Europeans. We fly Tuesdays, Thursdays , Saturday (via Hyperlobby to keep the event started by Blairgowrie for the Ubizoo) and on Sundays (being our main "event" night) We tend to start at 19:30 with open dog fights then move to co-ops. If a fun filled night sounds up your squads strasse, drop me a line or visit us over at our forum. Once again, sorry to 242 Squad if this is in the wrong place. Regards DD_Friar

  18. I have now added the 7 smoke and 4 fire objects
  19. Security tip for those that still need to use a "crooklock" I had one on my MKII Cortina, my Dad told me to drill through the shaft and put a padlock through it once in the locked position, that way they can not be sprung by a hefty foot. I know this to have foiled at least 1 attempt to still the car from out side my house by a known little sh1t who went on to take another car that night and attempted to run the owner over.
  20. Yey! Salute Gentlemen (I use the term loosely). many happy returns
  21. just came across it after following one of the threads and then clicking through to another site, you know how it happens....
  22. Hi Chaps I have taken my utility a bit further and put together a web site that sorts all the objects out in to categories. Enjoy! http://www.hsfx-objects.net76.net Friar
