  1. I have added the file to a new location so hopefully this should now work.
  2. I have now completed my project I have been working on to produce an up to date catalogue for all the static objects that can be added to a map. I have placed a zip file in the HSFX 6 section of the vault and would welcome someone to download it and check that my instructions work. http://dangerdogz.co...tic-objectszip/ The zip file contains a folder containing all 1748 objects, an excel spreadsheet where I have put each object into a category and the code to make a web page that will display the chosen category. 3. 3rd time indeed JP, I think the only county to have done that. I think the Olympics are great, watching lots when I can get the remote. Really enjoyed the Opening Ceremony. It seems to be bringing the country together in a jingoistick frenzy........to the tune of Queens we will rock you Clap Clap bang, Clap clap bang ...Team GB Team GB
  4. Welcome Stryker. UP3 is the corrent sudo Official version however we are on the cusp of moving to Hsfx V6.01 as the "Official" dogz version. We are now playing more and more in this new version. You will not have to have Hyperlobby to fly with us. Generally the host will give you a DNS address to enter in the "Multiplay" screen to correct you directly. Regards Friar
  5. My next door neighbour works for a company that is doing the x-ray scanners for the stadiums and they had a couple of runners in the torch relay. He was allowed to bring one home for the night.
  6. Been thinking about use of beacons, as I was called to wise up for last nights mission, which I enjoyed by the way Fruitbat. It occurred to me that if you record the transmit letters starting in the sector for 180 to 210 you wont have to work out the reciprocal heading. The letter you get will give you the heading on the chart. For those of us that are a bit stretched when flying it will be one less thing to calculate. Simples
  7. Hello, Please find attached version 2 of my object list. I have now categorised all the objects so you can search for a type. Things like telephone poles and flowerpots (did you know we have four different types, who said Clod was into detail!) are classed as "Landscape". For each object in this group I have added a description. If you find that any of my groups could be better defined, please let me know. If you open the text file in excel and then add the filter to all rows, that will give you the searchable groups. Salute Friar hsfx objects2.txt
  8. One day we may want it back...................but I doubt it Salute to all the great friends I consider myself as having over the pond. Salute Friar

  11. Hi I have extracted a list of the objects together with their number. Put it into excel and you can search for stuff. Will do as a stop gap until someone does something more cleaver. hsfx static objects.txt
  12. I don't believe you Please pass on my best regards.
  13. Whilst travelling back from a meeting with a colleague on the train during general conversation she mentioned that her Grandad had made a little video recalling some of his "adventures" during the war as a Lancaster Flight Engineer. I sent her a message to say pass on my regards and to tell him that there are people that appreciate what young men like him did during the war. Friar
  14. Have a look now, it should be ok......

  16. Today I had my 50th birthday present - a flight in a Tiger Moth. It was a fantastic experience. There will be a video available in a few weeks. I got to do a loop, barrel roll and stall turn! My pilot was Brendan O'Brien for those that know. Friar

    Excuse My French

It is a really cool video. I loved the music and followed the link to "Two Steps From Hell" and then found them on Youtube. Have a listen to Archangel, Freedom Fighters (which is the sound track to the video), Heart of Courage, Protectors of the Earth, all are epic tunes!
  18. Dont know if you were already aware of this report but found it whilst wondering the web whilst having a coffee this morning.... http://www.flightglo...r-races-370634/ Whilst on the site check out the "Latest Videos" as well. A nice way to spend 5 minutes..

  21. All you Dads should follow my example, when my daughters were three I told them that when they grow up they were not to have any boy friends with pony tails, tattoos, ear-rings etc. They smiled and said "yes daddy" Simples, nothing to worry about....................
