Hi Gambler, I have sitting next to me a computer I put together for friend and its nearly what you have planned. I have ran CoD and it looks fine to me, the 69xx cards are showing 2 blue lines on the horizon, but those on the forums say a fix from ATI is coming. I went with the Intel i5- 2500K over the 2600K, cheaper and for gaming its suppose to be as good as the 2600, just lacks some threaders that have nothing to do with gaming. Motherboard is an ASUS Sabertooth P67, as for GPU, Radeon HD6950, again a bit cheaper, it can be flashed to the same specs as 6970. Have fun, I love putting them together, the suspense to see if it fires up is quite a rush.

I've made two purchases from Just Flight, all very easy to follow and set up. On the second purchase of CoD for a friend computer I even received a discount on some points I earned from the first purchase, about 5$ off.

Tried the "Run as Admin...", didn't help. I'll try the compatibility in a few different modes, messed with that before but will try again. The games are any where from three to five years old, I've had this problem on about 10 different games (CDs). I'll Dl some older and newer drivers, let ya know soon.

Hi Guys, I put a computer together for a grand daughter, it works fine except for the most important detail, it won't play video games from CDs or DVDs. The machine is way over built, I only know how to build gaming computers. ASUS P8P67 LE, Intel i-3-2100, ATI Radeon 5770 with Cosair memory and PSU (650), Windows 7(64). It works fine but when you try to start "I Spy" the starting advertisement runs, it asks that you type in your name and when clicking to proceed the screens becomes black and the game stops responding. Other games do just about the same or flash that the game is 32 bit and we should consult our vendor for a different format. I've messed with the compatibility settings and screen resolution to no avail. Anyone else had this happen or think of a solution? Thanks.....

I've had the best luck fixing friends computers, since I never visit those sites, ughm... Malwarebytes and SpyBot and sometimes I've had to go to Safe Mode and then run them, but these two have always found the culpert.

I think its more of just turning some applications down or off. The ground was a lot more detailed prior but still looks pretty good.

The next class is having its first gathering today , called SEPS, they explain what will come and make sure your computer is set up correctly. The first class will be Wednesday. I'll send a Email to Painless to see if he can find out if your in this class or the next. Sent a message to Painless, I'm not sure he'll be able to find out ahead of time on who is in each class. If you just signed up a few days ago I doubt that they'd get you in this quick, I waited a month or longer. Anyway he knows of this post and should get back to us soon.

This new computer has a HIS HD6950 Turbo 2GB graphics card. I'm not that familiar with this new a card, I'm using a 4890. Could someone that has a card in this generation, send me your settings that you use in the CCC. Thanks

OK, I think I'm a little closer, no JSGME file in my current V4.10.1m So what I need to know is where do I find the JSGME stuff. On my computer I have an old file UP201, might it be in there? Hopefully in Coops today, someone will break through the blockage in my brain.

Hi Mates, A friend I was in the Marine Corps with and the person that introduced me to IL-2, commissioned myself to build him a computer that will fly IL-2 online with the Dogz. Should BG find him worthy. I have a pure copy of 4.09 saved in a file by itself in the C drive. I then took another pure 4.09, added the no crack mod and dled 4.10 patch, now when the game opens now it shows V4.10m, I'm guessing that I need to add the latest patch to get to V4.10.1m Next could you tell me what step I go through to get the JSGME Mod Enabler into the game? Bucky, on my last build, about 7 months ago, I went with a Intel motherboard from ASUS. On such a board you can use either AMD or NVIDA for a graphics card. The CPU had to be Intel, but the graphics could be either manufacture, SLI or Crossfire didn't matter. So if you want to go with the 6970, your still able to use either type MoBo. I had someone that knew what they were doing watch over while I put it together, but have built two since. Not that hard mate.
