Sid I'm using a Creative sound card, maybe the same as Fruity, Creative Found Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatali1y, came with a nice headset too. I'm running Windows 7, did have some problem at first, updated the drivers that Creative had on their site and put everything to Game Mode with default settings. Sounds are fine but I doubt I know if they weren't.

If your able to check the part number on the under side of the stick, X08-******** were the last model made. The X05-******** was the unit made prior to the X08. These are suppose to be the best two available. I've only used the two, so I don't know if that is true.

Man is that loud, a great video and watched it twice. Then I snooped around and found the furry thing dancing, best stay out of other peoples closets.

Looks nice mate, so do the wives bloomers on the clothes line. I think I'll start a thread on what everyones computer / flying station looks like. Yours is very neat, what kind of chair is that you use. Never thought of mounting the key pad, I still look at the layout on the keyboard, good idea.

Those are the controls on my keyboard, I have a MSFFB2 joystick, it also has about nine controls, (brake, guns and next enemy/friendly views). I also use a CH Throttle and there are a couple dozen on it, some duplicates of the keyboard. I can send them if your interested. Good luck

Maybe try it on a friends computer see if his optical drive gets it to work. I had a hell of a time with CDs and DVDs on two brand new computers but thats another long story.
