Alternating Sunday sessions between coops and long missions.

Just an idea which I have run by FT already. 

What do you guys think about running multiple short 1946 coops on a Sunday when we are due to fly BOX on the Tuesday which follows it. Then we run a long 1946 mission on the Sunday followed by a 1946 multiple  short coop Tuesday. 

This would mean that we would have one multiple  short coop session every week either on a Sunday or Tuesday and a FT special 1946 long mission every other week on a Sunday.

BOX would remain every other Tuesday.

Your thoughts please chaps.....

I was under the impression we would eventually be moving up to BoX being every Tuesday as we gradually transition away from '46.

Until we do move on to BoX weekly I agree with the idea of alternate coops/long missions on a Sunday.

Sorry Mick, not trying to rain on your idea it's just this bit  "BOX would remain every other Tuesday".

I thought the agreed plan is that BOX will - in the not too distant future now - become the regular Tuesday night fixture.

Well, the Calendar does support the recurring stuff, so I've added the current future sessions into it.

Furthermore, I've added a Calendar block to the frontpage ... all nice and visible. Will it help?

Yes but the 'not too distant future'  is still a possibility... like Crash stated, we have not set a date ... yet.

I have no problem with Tuesdays being an exclusive BOX evening Arthur but I also have no idea when that will happen. When it does then I suppose we could still alternate Sunday sessions as described .

Until BoX is every Tuesday I agree with Painless's idea. When BoX is every Tuesday and '46 is still being flown Sundays then keep the alternating long mission/short co-ops sessions.

Here is a thought, how about when Bodenplatte is released we go Tuesdays BoX? That should give us 6 months to get ready.

I think that is a good idea as it gives plenty of time and a tangible target date.
