Squawk Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 IL-86 if I'm not mistaken. Almost had me going for the B707 but the rear of the turbojet is shaped differently Quote

Squawk Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Haha! I've been waiting for this. Time for something a little closer to 'home'. Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted November 19, 2013 2. Administrators Posted November 19, 2013 Taylorcraft- Maybe a BC12? Floatplane obviously Jabo Actually, now I'm not so sure.. Oh well, have this as a starter Quote
Squawk Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Not Taylorcraft. Hint, not all the 'clues' are in the picture. Quote
Sweper Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Bloody hell, this one was difficult. Do you mean homebulit or homemade with "home" It is small it is. "Little"? Quote
Squawk Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I'll have to give this one to Bongo, as it is the Found Aircraft company FBA-2C However the 'Bush Hawk' designation is for the FBA-2C2. Of modern design. 'Canadian' built and produced between 62-65 only 34 were built. With its enlarged cargo doors it tried to do the smaller jobs that the DHC-2Beaver was over qualified for, but was out performed by its contemerary, the Iconic C185. An upgraded aircraft, the Centennial 100 was developed and 5 were built. It approximated the performance of the C185 but unfortunately the company closed its doors before any more were produced. DD_Bongodriver Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I will have to admit my familiarity is limited with this type, I knew Canada had an independent manufacturer that made bush planes and had to do some CSI googling to help me. Quote
DD_Bongodriver Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Hey there you vocal god. OK, here goes, I hope this is difficult enough. Need to be a real anorak to know this I'm pretty sure of that. Quote
BluBear Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 That is a tough one! Compared the profile to the whole Pilatus family and it's neither of them... Not an Orlick, Tucano, or Texan II either... Quote
Sweper Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Looks like something agent 007 flew. Similar to a BD-5. But the tail fin differs a bit. Some sort of mini jet? Quote
DD_Bongodriver Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Negative, I'm in Geneva right now so on my iPad and can't upload any more pictures for clues, so I will say it is a British aircraft, it's a real cracker. Quote
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted November 20, 2013 1. DDz Quorum Posted November 20, 2013 Is it a Real Cracker P12E? Quote
