1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted June 13, 2015 1. DDz Quorum Posted June 13, 2015 Stinson Tri-Motor, I'm new at this. Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted June 14, 2015 2. Administrators Posted June 14, 2015 Ah-ha - an hour of googling turns up the Latécoère 25. An aircraft so ugly words fail me... Quote
DD_Bongodriver Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Christ! it looks like it was built out of dustbins. Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted June 14, 2015 2. Administrators Posted June 14, 2015 Well, it is French. I'm going to be out of town for a few days so you'll either have to wait or someone else can have a turn. How about Pooka seeing as he's new to the thread? 1 Quote
BluBear Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 Sounds good to me mate, over to you Pook if you like? Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted June 14, 2015 1. DDz Quorum Posted June 14, 2015 OK, just need to figure out how to make small pictures. Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted June 14, 2015 1. DDz Quorum Posted June 14, 2015 Testing... This may be very easy, but I did learn how to crop and attach w/o the name showing. Quote
DD_Bongodriver Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 A small hint Pooka, rename your photographs, it kinda gives the game away when the floating text when you hold the mouse cursor over the picture reveals the answer, it's a shame really because that was stacking up to be a good one. Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted June 14, 2015 2. Administrators Posted June 14, 2015 I've renamed the image bongo - lets see what the others make of it Quote
DD_Arthur Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 w/o the name showing. Er....have you tried clicking on your picture, Pook? Edit; ah, Bongo and Jabo beat me to it! Quote
Sweper Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Tough one Pooka! Where the heck did you find it? The only aircraft i found with similar tailwheel is a couple of US ones, like Ford and Stinson but they have quite different tails. For these reasons, I would respectually ask for more details Quote
1. DDz Quorum Pooka Posted June 15, 2015 1. DDz Quorum Posted June 15, 2015 Well since I screwed up when I posted this, and made it possible to see what a/c I dled, and your about the only person left that follows this thread, I'll reveal all at this time: You sort of guessed right, its a Ford Flivver. I can and will post the whole picture in a short time, but your up as they say. Here it is. Quote
BluBear Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Oh I was still following Pooka! But thanks for the reveal. What an intriguing little machine. Quote
Sweper Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Alright! No, I did not see the original photo. I did not know about this model at all. Didn´t even find it when searching on internet. But its big brother had a similar rearwheel. That´s why Ford came up Tricky one. Now I´m gonna dig deep to find one you´ll never figure out, lol. 1 Quote
