In previous years this was effectively the shoreline but post-Shoreham a line of yellow marker buoys some 200m further out marks the limits of the display This was particularly unfortunate for the pair of Battle of Britain display flight Spitfires which followed. Not a big plane, this added distance means you just don't get to appreciate that Merlin sound at all.... Quote
