  1. I haven't got a rig capable of running it yet so I'm going to sit tight until I can afford it. Hopefully by that time this epilepsy issue will have been overcome and i'll also have a better idea what components to buy! I look forward to hearing all about the game from those Dogz that can run it now.
  2. Argh! All rooms are booked at the hotel for Duxford. Does anyone have room to fit in me and my father?!

I would happily sleep on the floor and give the old man a bed ;) thanks both of you. What nights are you staying?

I second that motion, I was thinking of booking next week but if it's full, I'd appreciate someone saving me from airshow homelessness. I'll of course pay half the room price.

    A Few Problems...

Likewise Bucky, i've been running Win7 for over a year now and have had little to no problems running all my older applications from when I was using XP. I'm usually on TS a few times a week anyway but if you're needing some help sometime this weekend feel free to drop me a PM and i'd be happy to log on and help you out. I use LogMeIn for remote access, I find it stable, secure and simple to use. I used it to help my Father in Ireland get setup with his new PC also on Win7 running IL-2 and Track IR.
  4. Friday Update 18/3 I actually got goosebumps watching these latest videos. I have faith in Oleg - He will deliver!

    Winning!

That guy hasn't got screws loose, they dropped out of his head and made a run for it! Still, pretty funny though.
  6. It has been confirmed that the Flying Bulls collection will be sending over their P-38 and Corsair to Duxford this year for Flying Legends. Clicky here! This along with the possibility of a Mosquito stopping off from Oz to USA is a mouthwatering prospect. This will also be the first time since 1996 that a P-38 has been seen in the skies of England. I simply cannot wait!!!!!
  7. Sounding positive Arthur, that's good to hear mate! Let's hope you can recover some/all of your data in due course and as cheaply as possible! I have to thank you actually, this thread has served as a catalyst for me pulling my finger out and finally getting round to ordering my new back up hdd. It's always one of those things on the list to do when I get five mins and always forget.
  8. Just connect up to TOAD's server in game and have a go. (observing the mod details at the top of the web page, and the address) It's handy when you just want to jump in and get involved, being an MDS and all. Even when there's no-one else around it can still be more fun than a blast on the QMB in my opinion.
  9. Loving the growl of the IR thingy! Can't wait to give this a test drive in a minute. Oh nice vid again mate.
  10. Is going for it! Fresh install, 4.101 with all the goodies as per fruitbats thread. Here goes!

now its all working fine, i am responsible..... lol.

  11. What a legend! Imagine what it was like having this mans job. Part One: Part Two:
  12. Very nice mate and a good kill too. I do love those 'seat of ya pants' turning fights sometimes. Especially at low alt/speed, when the slightest wrong move and 'wop!' you spin in, lol. Keeps you awake for sure!
  13. I remember seeing this on youtube a good few years ago, he was lucky it didn't tip over! http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd24/decamara/?action=view&current=P51-MustangCrashLanding.mp4
  14. Found on one of the aviation forums, here is some excellent and rare colour footage of RAF Czech pilots during 42/43 in the UK. And you can also see the [currently under restoration] Shuttleworth Collection Spitfire Vc taxiing past the camera in part one. (Look out for AR501 codes: NN-A) Simply fantastic. Part One: Part Two: Heroes. The lot of them.
  15. It's quite something isn't it? I'd love to see/hear it in formation with some of the other ultimate Navy prop warbirds... Imagine: Seafire 47, Bearcat, Tigercat, Sea Fury... All together. What a sight and sound that would be! ...And to satisfy TOAD they could all fire the crap outta replica period ground targets! Whoooosh, grrooooooowwwwwww, daggadagga... BOOOM!
  16. Just an update, if any of you chaps haven't seen, the '190 emerged from the paint shop a while ago and here are some up to date photos.clicky here Nice to see the paint is 'settling in' although it still seems to throw up discussion over just how authentic the shades are! To be honest, I like it. It's different and represents what this particular aircraft looked like, in field applied camo, at the time of it's forced landing.
  17. Both February and March now have 1680 x 1050 added and are ready to d/l from the vault
  18. I dunno, there's always one! Of course mate, I'll sort it.
  19. Not entirely convinced with the sounds... Further placeholders perhaps? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5EqSo2hzBk
  20. March also now available to download in the vault This time a Fenrir compostion, did he ever mention he rather likes the P-38? ;-) March-thumb by twostix, on Flickr
  21. Personally, I preferred the Horseman as a two ship routine, it was somehow more dynamic. However, i'll be more than happy to watch them again, whatever their routine and especially considering they plan to bring their own Mustangs this year! Yes it seems TFC are slowly getting air under the wings of their collection, i'd be surprised if the '47 flys this year, though I'm sure we'll see more of the regulars from Hangar 2 where they belong (in the air of course!).
