  1. Might try adjusting some of the setting for RC4, slide RAM up and down a little. Have you tried downloading new video drivers? What card are you using? Might even try older drivers as well. Might try it windowed too and see what that does to the framerate.
  2. maybe there are no humans to be loaded??
  3. *sigh* Silly Windows people, when will they learn to name their files appropriately. =P
  4. Awesome, Snacko! You guys do some seriously brilliant work.
  5. done and done. Absolutely first-rate job there. Those skins are increadible. Well done!
  6. ~S Jim You've been missed terribly in just the few weeks I've been back, old buddy. No worries, though. You've managed to made one hell of a crew out of the world's largest collection of goofballs. Something really special exists here, and the love everyone feels for our friend is just the barest hint of how awesome a person you've been over the years. If we've managed to learn even the smallest amount of your patience, good humor, and sincere kindness, we're all better people for it. Thank you, buddy, for making me a better person.
  7. I find it amazing that anyone could be good enough friends to allow another man to inject anything into his wife... I did ask a friend of mine, and he informed me that the term "mucker," would be appropriate between two individuals in that sort of close relationship. Apparently either that, or Welsh. I didn't catch the significance of the second comment.

    Arma Ii Night

Think the plan is to just go plain vanilla right now. If you plan to play online, I'd strongly suggest the warfare mod. Also plan to check out that 1944 mod mentioned above. That could be pretty cool!

    Arma Ii Night

I like the warfare mod a lot. Instead of just running around shooting each other you have to capture towns, worry about supply lines, build bases, and all that stuff. It actually ends up being a lot more interesting, I think. I used to play it pretty hardcore on a couple servers. A single match might last 6-7 hours or more, depending on how aggressive everyone is, and how good the commanders are. I haven't played in a while, but when I did... I definately enjoyed being the commander. =)

    Arma Ii Night

I'd be up for that. I just reinstalled Arma II and downloaded the warfare mod. Sunday would be best for me. I believe my mother is coming to visit Friday/Saturday.
  13. Just got it reinstalled, but I'll be a little busy, sorry.

    Oceanic Server

I was in the Black Prophecy beta. It was a pretty interesting game. There was a lot I liked about it, but it was a little unfinished the last I played it. I can see it competing with EVE pretty soon. Especially since it's controlled and flown, rather than piont-and-click, which was always my biggest gripe about EVE.
  15. I'm running a D&D Game tomorrow, or I'd reinstall and be there. Tell him hello from Rico!

    Salute To Bg

Well, all these years ago I bought this really great game called IL-2 and installed it. I had trouble figuring out where to play it, so I checked the Ubi forums. I was excited to find this thread inviting all comers to join in on weekly Coop missions. Thus did I meet BG and a whole host of amazing people he called friends. For a couple years after that I just had a ton of fun playing mission after mission with a great bunch of guy. As good as I could see everyone was, you really stood out BG. Time after time some one would forget to lock their tail wheel and run into some one else, or they'd stall taking off from the carrier, or who know's what. BG would call "10 seconds!" and the free for all would ensue. What really impressed the hell out of me is how you never seem to get mad. I know you had to be gritting your teeth when start after start, some one would do something silly to hose it up. Plenty of times it was the same person a few times in a row. I could almost sense you grinding your teeth, but you never let it show in your voice or in how you handled it. You'd call the 10-seconds and everyone would laugh and carry on as they engaged each other. I always thought that was such a brilliant way to handle it because no one gets mad, they just have a lot of fast fun out of it. To me, that really said a lot about my friend. It said that you're a guy who doesn't get upset about little things, that you're an intelligent guy who knows how to ensure his friends are having fun, and more than anything, it says that you're a guy who truly cares for his friends and puts them first. It's said that a man should be judged by the quality of friends he keeps. I'm not sure it says much about you, old buddy... =) But thanks to a friend like you, I sure look like a complete stud! I'm sorry now that I had to take a bit of a break, but it's only served to remind me of how extordinary the community is here. Most if not all of us are here because Jim took the time to reach out to us and bring us into the fold. I think the topic speaks for itself. Look at all the friends and look at how much they love you and how completely awesome they think you are. My sister once asked me what I thought success was. This is it, man. You are a complete success in every sense of the word. I'm very proud to have you as a friend, Jim. God bless you. We all love you.
  17. ROFL Oh, I so didn't expect that comment until I read it.
