  1. Yeh, I remember when this was first posted, I've often wondered if it ever was restored. Can you imagine the euphoria you would have finding something like this, in that kind of shape.
  2. Tried that already, Foil does not have a high enough Luminous value, would make a ball for the tape I'm sure.
  3. That cat isn't stupid, he knows them are his masters, otherwise, a meal they would be. It's amazing how our pets will give up instincts, to remain in our good graces, and not out on the street. LOL
  4. I replaced the wires in my CH pedals with some wire nicked out of an ole Keyboard chord. The CH original wires are solid core, What were they thinking??? The fine wire from a keyboard chord is multi strand, and will flex, and move without pinching. IIRC mine broke at age 3 and I've had them over 6 years now. I also own the Microsoft Force feed back, and use the X-45 throttle all in combination, when flying.
  5. I've been debating trying this, for no other reason, than curiosity. I will say, if you do it in reverse as Gec mentioned Smaller balls = brighter lights. and Larger balls = dimmer lights. It works that way with TIR too. If your running into problems, you generally need a larger reflective piece. The balls only make sure no matter the angle of your head the IR light still hits the same size of reflective material. Thus making it more trouble free.
  6. Just a reminder of my gunnery practice warm up coops. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,5930.0.html My guns vary from aircraft to air craft and the perceived job at hand in the mission. 183 for normal DF mode all weapons. 300 if ground targets are my intended goal. 1000 if attacking bombers. certian planes however get other settings, do to the piper not lining up to my comfort zone of 200 yards. so I adjust them till the guns hit at 183 meters.
  7. That's not a glitch! That's the 1945 French swept wing Field Mod. Try reading some books next time, your out.
  8. Yep windows live Messenger when helping one of you and VNC for my own internal network here at home.
  9. JP SD allows you to sort your favorite web pages in a clickable thumbnail sorted in folders. It makes it quick to go to your favorite daily haunts.
  10. I just got a new one today Fox Clock it places the time of just about anywhere you want on your task bar of FF. I also use Speed Dial What else do you guys use, and why?
  11. Ok, viewed it, thanks for finding and sharing. Well worth the trouble. I'm going to mention it, just in case someone already has the stuff to do it. I'd have to chase a few things down. But how about adding sound of a projector, and back ground noise of a flight crew viewing it, just for effect, and immersion. It felt almost like it was 60 years ago today.
  12. Well My 2 cents Dual Boot Either get another HD or partion it, if it's large enough. I have three HD's in my system. One of them is split into 2 partion's Front side 50 gig is my working OS for anything other than Gaming, Back side is Games, IL2,COD4, list goes on. 150 gigs of them. Second drive front side is 15 gig for my Gaming OS just the basics,(18 processes running on fresh boot) and a few utilities for the games and hardware. Back side of that one is 97 gigs and it is My Documents, which by the way is linked to both OS, so no matter what one I'm booted up to clicking the My Documents icon takes me there. Now the only change I'm considering is getting an external now that they are getting so cheap is to put My Documents on it, just for a more secure feeling of them being less apt to lost to
  13. What player are you using to view it? I can't or don't have one that will.
  14. Thanks Painless, 8:47 minutes to get it, over here. Just now getting a chance to sit down and watch it.
  15. Nice RC, are you still dailup? If so that might be his Comms problem, we run one of the higher codecs on TS. IIRC
  16. Downloading now, I've found some of this too, a few years back A former supervisor and and freind of mine wife, has severa rolls of color footage taken by her dad in WW2, I've been trying to convince them to get it profesionally looked at, and turned into DVD, Any idea did the museum charge for this? I've recently showed them the stuff MSN hosted up, that was recenlty recovered. She is afraid it will be destroyed, I keep telling them if never recovered it is the same as destroyed.
  17. Nice, My Youngest Daughter thought enough to get me the Flying Legends Calender
  18. USB head set, and you can direct TS to them via TS controls
  19. I'm not sure how many of us can make this, but I'll be there. http://www.bransonairshow.com/ My wife an I are contemplating Flight Deck Club tickets and going the night before and getting a room. I know a few other air enthusiast I work with, that will be going as well.

  23. Ahh, isn't that sweet, he dolled up and laced his tank for the memorial parade. I hope he got proper permission to deface his equipment that way. I prefer looking at tanks my self with a bit of mud on them. Boy when they say love is blind, they ment it.
