PapaBear
Hooray yes they do come off as a pair thats Grrrrrrrrreat !!!! lol Had to make a support brace for storage & transport, so just push them on to locating pins and tighten securing bolts Removed motor from MXS now that its all run in and set up, no messing about when its in Tiger hopefully. Just checking out a rubber anti vibration system, next step bolt it in permanantly

PapaBear
Well i have managed to get a few more hours on the moth, its time to try and squeeze all the bits inside that make it work, ie electronic ignition unit, servos, batterys, fuel tank and all the wiring. Not much room in there as i don't want too much on show from inside cockpit area. A few more bits of detail added. Next bolt on the noisy bit,fit more bits of detail check the CofG and run it up and make sure nothing shake's loose and every thing works, going to bolt engine on to firewall without rubbers as they were too soft, then go and fly it, when we get a calm day.
BluBear
Looks fantastic old man! Loving all the little details. It must make life a little easier with the wings permanently bolted in pairs too. We'll need moving pictures and sound when things start to come alive, so get SisterBear behind the video camera! PapaBear
Thanks Mick, i just hope it flys as well as it looks lol. Looks fantastic old man! Loving all the little details. It must make life a little easier with the wings permanently bolted in pairs too. We'll need moving pictures and sound when things start to come alive, so get SisterBear behind the video camera! Yes having the wings like that should save an awefull lot of time setting up, can't imagine messing about with all those rigging wires, and with the colder weather now it will be easier on the fingers as well. PapaBear
Well i managed to get all the bits in ok, and the noisy bit on and ready to go ! The scale exhaust fits nice and snug after a lot of modification, only hope there is enough air flow over cylinder now for cooling, looks ok. Will soon see. Now to see if it starts and runs ok !!!

PapaBear
Just got Moth assembled outside to do an engine run at long last. 20151006_143052.mp4 not as much vibration as i thought there would be, small problem with exhaust, next just run it with cowl on and make sure it does not get too hot, then fly the bugger. The video sound does not do it justice, sounds a lot better for real.

DD_Bongodriver
Interesting, it seems to be a modified Tiger with no slats but still has a tailskid.
