More bad news I am afraid. The cancer has now spread to the liver. I had a CAT scan at the end of August and the liver was clear. They did another CAT scan last week and I have two small tumours on the liver. I am off the study drug and will start chemo shortly.

Good luck with the chemo JIm ;- it *does* work ;- We were delighted to get news just over two weeks ago that my aunt had been given the all clear following the treatment )

My grandfather has stomach cancer for a year and a half now, he's 80 years old and neither chemo nor radiation therapy made him feel bad It must depend on the person, best wishes Jim.
