T_O_A_D
Does it work on older sticks, namely the X-
JensenPark
TOAD: I was just going to ask this.
Perfesser
Should work. When you open the old editor there's a drop down menu for whatever stick. If the new one uses the .pro file then it should work. My biggest problem was what button I was programming. Finally a 3D view again. Here's a list and yes the X45 has been added with the last release. http://www.saitekforum.com/showthread.php?t=16643

1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted April 13, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted April 13, 2009 negative on the sst software. the latest version of the sst software generates a .pr0 extension and is not compatable with the previous version that has the 3d image. The latest version only has a table and NO graphic image. If you migrate from the 3d image version to the the latest one, you WILL have to remap you keys on the x52. Fireman
a word of caution gents, I've been through this a few times with the SST software. I used to own an X45 with the old "graphical version of the software, then moved to the X52 which uses the .pr0 extension and no graphical interface. I also know that these Saitek devices and their programming software bundles can be finicky.

Snacko
So, can you at least click on a button in the image and have it select that button in the SST software so you can program it.
