DD_Arthur Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Well done FT. Looks great! Duel is a great movie too. The only problem is the ending. If the maniac driving the tanker had actually managed to flatten Dennis Weaver, we'd have been spared all those episodes of McCloud Btw; did you know Dennis was a naval aviator? Infact an interesting guy all round Quote
1. DDz Quorum Painless Posted April 23, 2015 1. DDz Quorum Posted April 23, 2015 Thanks FT, so you paint wild a bit like JMW Turner, but without the spitting when dry brushing obviously. Excellent work sir. Quote

1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted June 10, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted June 10, 2015 Now that only a few model cars are on the bridge, most of them were in a box, packed away. So, using two pieces of perspex I had somewhere, and some others stuf, last Sunday, I built me a simple display case. The perspex door hinges at te top. (It looks a bit warped, but that's what the iPhone's 'Pano' does ... ) Quote

1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted July 5, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted July 5, 2015 So, because so many models are not ón the bridge currently, decided to build a cabinet for them. Too bad, all of them still do not fit in it... Quote
1. DDz Quorum FoolTrottel Posted September 5, 2015 Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted September 5, 2015 Hey, this thread has had very little attention. You all thought I had regained my senses and stopped paying attention to die-cast 1/64th scale models? WRONG! Look, a completely new cabinet built! Some of the models added: Lincoln Continental: (Heavily customized, different wheels, higher stance, painted interior) A selection of bad-ass fire trucks! Some 60's muscle cars ... And the latest, and therefore currently the greatest: Custom built Peterbilt 379/385 Wrecker Tow Truck: Combination of this: And this: Beetle for the win! Big Cadillac Mercedes 500SL and Jaguar XJ.CS v12 Law enforcement: It's just... I found a forum dedicated to model car collectors.... Swifty's Garage I've started several threads there, one 'm for the bridge... (And two of the pictures I posted of cars on the bridge got nominated for 'Picture of the Month July', there was a vote and.... mine ended up winner and runner up.... w00t!) Quote
DD_Arthur Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Congratulations FT Very well deserved too. I note that you have spent all day doing a cut and shut on the breakdown truck, lol. I find it hard to pull your leg over this as I'm an active member of two RC helicopter forums and I've spent most of this rather nice Saturday in early autumn trying to breathe life back into one of my micro helis. I believe its a man thing Quote
PapaBear Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Well done FT, absolutely brilliant, love the caddy. Quote
