  1. Additions to the collection: And nicely weathered as well!
  2. Don't study too hard on all that stuff, chances are 4.13m makes you need to learn it all over again. New bomb sights and new keys/buttons defined ....
  3. You better start painting the ceiling and the upper parts of the walls sky-blue, and the rest in-cockpit-grey/green ....
  4. We saw that Beebop... Good to see you got archives/backups... Looking forward to seeing the site up there again!
  5. All the cars 1/64th scale I got for this project are on the bridge ... Still to be delivered/on order: 4 CAR SET THE BLUES BROTERS 1980 Ford F-100 pickup Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible 1965 Mercury Turnpike 1957 pink (w00t!) 25 figures - unpainted - 1/87th scale - Mainly to dress up the busses
  6. May I refer you to posts two and forty-two in this thread? Yeah, I do realize you know and understand, yet still you are asking me perfectly good and normal questions! Stop that!
  7. lol... yeah... well, it's just the scale... 1/64th is popular in the USA, not so much over here I can get me a Renault 4, even in Dutch 'Wegenwacht' - AAA road service (?) but for a price I can get me three American models, or a truck... And basically, that 50's/60's/70's Mericans are much easier on the eye... (Oh man, look at this entire thread, and think about it a bit, can't you tell I've completely lost it? I really do not know what I am doin', isn't that obvious? There's no reason here, there's no logic!)
  8. Last night, we had issues with the 'Ferry Aircraft Mission'... turns out that if you 'airstart' this mission, the P40's on the runway are a few meters in the air at start, speed=0. So, kaboom. Once it's a normal start ('Takeoff and landings' ticked in difficulty), the issue does not occur. Reason is - I think - the Take off waypoint options are set to 'Pairs'. Weird stuff... never seen this in another mission... yet, there may not be many using this 'Pairs' option... and indeed, why would one use the airstart option?? Just letting ya'll know ... it might re-occur... now it's recorded for research and posterity ...
  9. You got it Arthur, Ferris' Ferrari indeed, and the 1958 Plymouth Fury. The Dodge pickup is a 2014 model, so I don't think Rutger hitched in it ...
  10. Yes, correct but why 'famous'? Why do I call it that?
  11. Look, the car collection is nearing completion, I found a bus! Was a bit of a gamble, as the scale was not mentioned on the box... Looks okay to me though... Here's some more cars I got recently, all from the Internet shopping, except for the Bus that is... Quiz time, as who recognizes the two really famous cars here? And also, once again apart from the Bus, guess make and model of 'm all... winner gets.... the honour of winning
  12. Look here: Mosquito Stories Just stumbled upon it, kinda... good reads! (Not like it's all combat related 'n' shift) One line from one of the stories: "(...) Generally speaking, its role was murder by night, but it didn't blink at daytime killing.(...)" And, there's other Mossie stuff on that site there...
  13. Here's what I think it all boils down too: CloD is good. Very Good, and very much worth while spending time on it. But, as mentioned, CLoD contents are too limited currently to have continuous fun with it during all of our sessions. (And also, the fact some members are not into it, yet) IL2 1946 is still the main thing, and it's good things like BoS, DCS and whatever 'other' simmerlings that are being created, but as a group we cannot change over, yet... (Not sure when it would happen, if it will happen at all!) And with TD still active with it, there's sufficient life in it! (But I do think we can do with more mission builders, or great mission ideas... or whatever new stuff we can come up with... Oh well)
