@Snacko: No, no need to mess with them anymore, some TF patch gave that to us. It's just opening the fuel thing, hit ignition/starter and wait for temps to come up... @Fenrir: Thanks very much! Especialy the 50 throttle on take off, and the 'hold it' on landing will help me performs these procedures more smoothly!

It wás good fun indeed... We did not get to shoot at any enemy bombers, but we did have an 'interesting' encounter with some 109's... thanks to Red 1 excellent leadership we got away without too much damage... They did have a lot more energy than us, initially they were outnumbered, but more appeared quickly. I've seen two 109's, one zipping by from one to zeven o'clock, another one on my five, with tracers zipping by, which I somehow escaped by turning/diving... not sure who warned me, but thanks big time! The rest of the a/c I pointed my guns at, all were Spitties... Loved it!

Sorry, but 'No Padlock' is selected. You can check that in the briefing screen, via Options, Realism. Could it be he's using some simple graphics settings so your airframe stands out? Or was there a bug in the Clouds, where they are in one place for one pilot, and in a different one for another? Was I dreaming? Was it BoS?

Sid, The df server is still 'available' though it is not up currently. It has been running for ages, rotating df missions... the same ones over and over again. It was stopped by me, due to lack of interest, and due to resources 'better' spent on our CloD server instance. (You would not want an unused 1946 server use up resources and creating 'troubles' for a used CloD server....) Just tonight, where it appeared we had no one to host, I was tempted to fire up the df server again... I refrained from doing so, as somehow I knew Painless would show up... In the end, the problem I think is, that the df can be running and rotate missions, but those missions are all kinda old and predictable... I remember Pooka asking me for new stuff, or for missions running longer... .then I ended up putting them really long-Coops-Run-As-Dogfigt-missions on, which ended up... indeed as being way too long... I could somply bring it up on sundays, as long as crash and I are doing that VARP-SEOW....

Yeah, well, maybe ... I dunno, gotta think about it some more.... Okay, done thinkin'... Yes, IN!

The DSR is something the video card does... the game will follow that. Try some settings, like factors at 3x and smoothness at 33%, I saw a nice difference in CloD mainly, smoother pictures etc... Just try and see what works for your setup, mind you, I guess too high a settings may make your video card struggle... As far as the other issues: Found this: here Hi Johann, This TV only supports HDMI 1.4, and that's what I'm using. It does not support HDMI 2 and that's why it only has 30Hz refresh rate when in 4K, Thank you. Native resolution should give the clearest images... Is it capable of presenting you a clear picture at close-up, I mean... you call it a "TV"... Usually, one sits a tadd further away from a TV than from a monitor... What brand and model is it? Have you looked at reviews for it?
