Ok BG, I have sent an invitation to you. Underneath the taskba, you have the two arrows, and then Store- Library- News -Community, click community, and you should get a profile page thing, there you have a number of options, Home - Profile- Groups - Invites -Games. Click on invites and you should see a bunch of friend requests and the group invitation. When you have added friends, in the bottom right of any steam screen you should have the option to "view friends". Right-click on a name and press Send message and you should be able to communicate via Steam, if you would like.

I have not pre-ordered the game yet, but it remains to see how annoying this filter thing is. In the words of the great Douglas Adams, Don't Panic. Still, pretty much a dick move to pull this sort of thing. -

Anyone up for flying tonight? I might host a dogfight or even some of the pacific coops if you missed them, or just want more.

I am slowly getting things sorted out for flying online but I don't have everything in place yet. Need a better microphone setup and the test I have done so far with things as they are seems to cause an echo effect. At least I have Teamspeak and have it somewhat setup. Have not logged into the DD server yet, still have to do that. I think I have to info to do that. How I get the sim hooked up to run online, that I still have to figure out, looks like that’s done from within the sim, have ...

Yep, my local gameshop said the same thing. -
The driver thing is just a security thing built into windows vista and 7, I would recommend disabling user activated control (UAC). It is under your Control panel>Users and the "UAC settings". I always disable UAC within 5 minutes of installing windows. After installing drivers Windows will ask you if they are correctly installed, just states yes when the message comes up and it should work. As for TrackIR, are you trying to install the 5 software, it works with Tir4 as well. If you want we can help you via TS, even if you have to respond in the chat.

Looks pretty bad, my dad is talking all morning about how nasty the quakes where in the 80´s and early 90's when we lived in Tokyo. Nothing on this scale though.
