It has been 6 years since I built my IL2 rig for $400. My birthday is comming and I am thinking about refreshing my flight sim rig. Again I am going to go the bargan way if I can do it. My budget is <$600. Try something beside CH. My CH keep needing repair. They used solid strand wire inside and it breaks after chassing Sid around in the sky all evening. Easy fix but a pain when it happens.

Thanks all for your insight, I have won an auction on ebay for a MSFFB2 with the earlier X05 model#. winning price of $41. My X52 throttle still works fine so it will continue to serve me like it has for so many years. Fingers crossed it works when I receive it.

is a $50 MSFFB2 worth anything? New ones are 100S of $ and a used one is $50? Doesn't that mean they are worn out? I would hate to buy a used piece of Shait.

After many years of service and 2 years of toddler abuse I am ready to replace. But with what? I have a $150 budget. x52-pro Thrust Master MSFFB2 used CH I am leaning towards the x52pro or the CH what would a Dog recommend?

Thanks Dogz, I had a great day. I took a 4 day weekend and did nothing but sit in the woods, drink Beer & listen to "nothing" but humming birds & coyotes while the occasional friend would stop by for a day of camping. The Milky Way was out as well.

I have installed a new graphic card and when I run in perfect mode my water is black. Any tips on how to resolve this issue? Confini file setting? a good kick in the arse? Give up and go fishing? Other than that it works great. (Thanks Arthur ~S~)

PC Gurus, My mother's pc keeps shutting down after boot up. sometime after all the desktop icons appear. When I boot it in safe mode it does not shut down. My question to you is, is there someplace to look within the system to determine what is making it shut down? I do not suspect hardware as all seems well when in safe mode. Thanks for any insight Tonar
