Well I got the video setting thing sorted, But still unable to exit flying. really weird. the esc key work on the main Paige to exit, but not in game. It is installed in C: games/IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 4.12.2 FRACKIN MODS !!

OK, Weirdness. IL2 is running but once I am in flight I can not get out. The ESC key does not bring up the Exit game window. Unless that is not how it works. Maybe I forgot how to exit the game. ?? Also it is not saving any of my video settings and defaults back to min resolution. But I am two steps closer to flying again. I am home today and might join up if flying is happening today Tuesday.

OK,fuel cock on, prop pitch 0, got a hurri started, taxied, took off, put gear up, started shaking crazy like, FFB all over the place. Engine cooked, Emergency landing in a beet field. Oh yeh .... Rads and put prop pitch back. That was fun. Unfortunately I was not able to figure out how to pick a different plane. It kept either putting me back in the beet field or just offered me the PLANE button. I ended up disconnecting from the server and re-connecting. I know it is some step that eludes me. So far it is crashing while trying to remember what keys I need to map....And I miss my peddles It is good to get back in the seat. Now to just hear all my favorite accents again.

I wish I could make it tonight. But work is keeping me late for the 20th day in a row.. Boy I miss being a dish washing ski bum

OK, CLOD is pretty cool. My new rig and graphics doesn't even stutter maxed out . Hip Hip !! I guess it is now time to read the threads about CLOD recommended setups.

Hello, I am new to the world of Steam and CLOD. I have succumbed to the call of the Dogz and purchased CLOD over steam. My MSFF is in working order. My Saitek throttle is moving. TIR4 (looking for disk), TS3 downloaded.(need headset and mic and looking forward to banter) Unfortunately when I click in my new CLOD icon on my desktop following a successful CLOD download, I get a loading wheel and then nothing....Ever. Steam says thank you for the money. Am I missing something? Obviously !

So I should be able to install my old hard drive into my new PC and copy the files over from that disk?
