  1. I am now totally lost! I have tried to follow the "event register"' thread without success. How I will ever find my way to Duxford next July is therefore quite problematic. Nevertheless, I fully intend to be there. So count me in as a definite maybe and post me wherever you must.
  2. Wait until you see my latest pond pictures. If only I could spare a minute to post them.
  3. I got in once on Sunday but yes it has been down and still is. Very unreliable site.
  4. One of the great features of our property is the large gravel deposits. A couple of years ago, I opened up a very nice gravel pit. There was a big boulder right in the middle of it and I knew the backhoe wouldn't be able to handle it. But I thought the excavator might stand a better chance so I headed back to the gravel pit and started digging. Once I exposed the rock, I knew that I could never lift it out of the hole.
  5. And I thought Enforcer was weird! Mad dogz and Englishmen wot?
  6. I seem to recall a missing pilot by the name of Logos. But then my memory is fading fast. Good to hear from you m8 and great to see the wanding is still going strong.
  7. I hate to be a pessimist but I just can't see them being able to build 70 rooms in 6 months. More like 6 years!
  8. I have missed your insults and scathing comments. Brace yourself!
  9. Welcome to manhood Jedi. Your voice will changing soon.
  10. It was my feeble attempt at a joke David.
  11. Tolerance cuts both ways Andy and I happen to think your post was intolerant. I would be sorry to see you go but if you think you must, then perhaps it would be for the best. I know for a fact that Scotland released him because they wanted to spare themselves the expense. The compassion story was a blind.

  13. I believe that was one of the main reasons they let him out. He certainly proclaimeded he was innocent but then, they always do that, don't they.
  14. We wuz getting worried about you Smash. Thought perhaps you had developed an interest in the fairer sex maybe?
  15. My humble apologies for closing early tonight. I have now determined it was a mouse hardware issue, probably caused by numerous drops and kicks of the said mouse. That will be rectified tomorrow with a brand new laser mouse.
  16. Have a look at this thread Andy. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,7063.msg57652.html#msg57652
  17. That's really good of you Arthur. Horseback came through?
  18. Actually Tribunus, I think you have made more progress than you think. You, DT and others have been able to sway me over to that the view that the 2nd Amendment is good for America. Not sure I buy into some of the arguments re giving the populace the ability to take on the Government or that guns don't kill people, people do. If the people want guns then that is sufficient reason. I would just rather not see them in my country. I learned a couple of years ago on these very same boards that it is best not to take gun control and social medicine too seriously. No point in losing good friends over an issue that neither one of us can really change individually.
  19. The pilots rushed to their Spit agog with excitement. I think only a Brit will get that one.
  20. I think we should do one at Duxford next year.
  21. "We just know our traitorous weasels .....err, I mean politicians better than the rest of you." I hope they were not the same lads who wrote the Constitution?
  22. I would like to think the world and the political situation in the US has changed substantially in the more than 200 hundred years since the 2nd Amendment came into effect but then, as you say, you know what the politicians are like in the US. I just can't contemplate the idea of citizens rising up against the Government.
