Had you agreed to share with anyone Dom? *** EDIT *** Never mind, I can see you had a share available.
@Swep - good news m8. now all we need is for some kind person to rescue a dog in distress from Stanstead.

P.S. That's 14 from this side of the herring pond if everyone turns up. Any news from the NA/Canadian contingent?
Now making extensive use of adobe lightroom, I'm loving the features of that package. Only minor downside is that you need to be shooting in raw to get the benefits, but that's ok as I'm not using jpg now anyway
Seeing as you are buying more bits Arthur - I have felt the need to join in. First this;
(clue - it's the bit on the top)
and a new 50mm portrait lens (Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 Mk 2)
and there may be some other bits too!

Is that so? Verrry interesting Mr Streak - having never had the necessary gizmos to do astrophotography, I'm merely extrapolating from my own experience.

@ Mick
Hey Arthur, instead of a remote, why not use the self timer? Push the button, retire to a safe distance and wait for the 'click' as the camera takes the picture by itself.

Having had a look at this thread, I appear to be in a minority as I am using Norton Internet Security (2013) and have been using this in various guises for the last 3 - 4 years with barely a glitch (and those I have had have been mosly caused by me ). I get a nice montly report of the things it's allegedly protected me from but ofther than that it doesn't really get in the way. I'll look into MS SE when the renewal comes around though.

Good lord, is that in this country? I do like the contrast between the blue of the sea and the grey and green of the cliffs. Good to see the 'rule of thirds' applied to the composition too. Nice work.

Hi Leon, my copy of that file comes in at 815,840KB and I picked it up from the link in the first post. I'll have a look. In the meantime, either keep trying or use Checkmods (see preceding post)
