  1. That's some seriously good flying by Nigel lamb in the spit. He's gotta be right on the limits there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No sweat Chet, I'm sure the arrangements won't be too complicated. If there's more than just you coming, it would be good if we can try and synch the flights so we can do just a single pick-up from the airport even if we need more than one car (unlikely). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Likewise, I've often wondered what Clod would be like on the ROF engine. Looking foward to this now... Jabo

  9. Ticket prices are out! 16-59 yrs - £30 59+ - £24 These are not the on-the-gate prices - they will be higher than this
  10. That's the point - no loans!
  11. You have discovered the wonder that is the DDz, Fumps, you'll not find a finer set of blokes willing to expend time, effort and (infrequently ) money to help a fellow Dog in distress. Just don't ask to borrow a chap's sheep. Jabo

  17. I dunno, I really hope there are 'new' spitfires there, after all we're talking about nearly doubling the world population if they're all airworthy but I suspect that even if they were buried in their original crates etc etc, its doubtful they've stood up to the ravages of time and annual monsoons that well. 18. I think you've discovered the Painless bug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I went for the '52 pro initially, which i really liked, but now I use just the throttle part along with an ms sidewinder II Jabo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Well, now I'm confused...I was referring to the defiant's less than glittering service record (definitely not the bravery of the crews) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. One of not many I'll wager.
  22. As I understand it, the '17 will not be fully restored, but instead 'as found' (hopefully the right way up though) with a minimum of work done to stabilise the airframe (much like the Halifax and Hurricane at Hendon).
  23. It's due to be raised shortly I think Rox. I think they wanted to raise it this year, but I guess it'll have to wait until next summer at the earliest the article is here
  24. Not quite Arthur, there was a statement due to be released from the IWM today which dealt with the plans for the recovery of the aircraft. As yet, I haven't got a copy. There is this though.
