  1. @ Swep - Here. Find Flying Legends in the list and click 'Book Now'. Select Saturday 13th July from the calendar and click 'Proceed'. On the next screen the 2 day entry passes are at the top of the list. Just enter the number of passes you need and click 'Proceed' to start the checkout process. Bear in mind that because tickets are posted to you there is a delivery charge (£7.00 for international, £2.50 UK). If people coming from abroad want a UK address you can send them to so as to save on postage PM me for details. Jabo
  2. OK, group booking info; Group size needs to be 10 or more; Daily charge (adults) - £27.60 (single advance ticket £30) - 2 days therefore is £55.20 Daily charge (seniors (60 and over) - £22.05 (single advance ticket £24) - 2 days therefore is £44.10 OR Adult 2 Day ticket - £58.65 (Advance bookings only - no group rates) Senior 2 Day ticket - £46.90 (Advance bookings only - no group rates) So group booking is marginally cheaper, but I think the extra admin outweighs the cost advantage. What do you guys think? Jabo
  3. Actually, that particular aircraft only has the 'stars & bars' on the underside at present.
  4. This year's poster - Can anyone spot the deliberate mistake?
  5. Hold on until I've spoken to them Swep, there will be full info here later!
  6. I'll call the IWM tomorrow morning to see what the block booking thing looks like. Looks like about £58 for a two day pass for non-wrinklies at this point.
  7. Not really Swep, we need at least ten people to get any sort of saving, and then someone has to pay and collect cash - not sure its a viable option...
  8. Just had a missive from tfc to say ticket sales are about 20% up on the same time last year for Saturday. Time to consider buying in advance? I probably will
  9. Back on track, I see that a certain P-51B/C/D arrived at Duxford yesterday. 26 days to go! And for more information about the 'Eagle Squadron' formation planned for the show see; http://globalaviationresource.com/v2/2013/04/29/remembering-the-mighty-eighth-pt-1-spitfire-mk-ia-p7308-unveiled-at-duxford/?fb_source=pubv1 with a look af the new paintjob for Spit 1A (AR213) especially for the occasion! 10. @ Fenrir - decisions, decisions. @ Bongo - Is that the 'super' corsair? or the regular? As far as the jets are concerned, the my choice once again is simples; Tip vortices? from the Vulcan? OMG
  11. ...which warbird would you have? Here's my choice and no surprise to anyone
  12. Good call Kev. For those that don't know
  13. And the Vulcan - for the time being anyway. If money were no object Arthur, I wouldn't have a Spitty or Pony either, Too many of them about these days, I'd rather have something a little 'different'. Avenger, Beaufighter...I feel a thread coming on...
  14. I'm inclined to agree Christophe, after all Korean war veterans are common visitors to the show, so it's a pity that contemporaries of the skyraider aren't included. I suppose it's viewed as the start of a slippery slope. Include Korea and its a short step to Vietnam and so on. On a related note I believe the sea vixen is still out of action following the uc collapse at Bournemouth last year? Jabo
  15. Some lovely pics of the Sabre working up to the dsplay season on the historic aviation forum. Here's just one to whet your appetite!
  16. I'll be around on TS for coops tomorrow if you want me to talk you through it. Jabo

Very nice Arthur, very nice indeed.
  18. A prize to the man in the hat. To be exact this is a juvenile Eurasian Eagle Owl (bubo bubo). Oh, and a Jessica. lol
  19. Me too BA, raptors are seriously awesome! Did you see this from a while back? Jabo
  20. You need to be installing IL-2 into a folder other than c:\program files (x86) as the Windows UAC will cause problems if you do. Best bet is to create a folder in the root directory of c:\ and install into that or, if possible, install into a folder on a separate drive. Mine for example is in J:\games\IL-2 1946. Let me know if you need more help. Jabo
  21. What he said and welcome back Logos! While there's a lot that has changed around here, it's inexplicably stayed the same as well. Good to see you back ~S~ Jabo
  22. ~S~ Mick - Sorry to hear that m8. Jabo So that's 3 (possibly 4). Anyone else?
