MadTrooper Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Salute, I have tried to install QMT without any success. When I click on the application file I get an error message looking for the correct path for the game. I have used the browser to tell the installation where the path was but it doesn't see it for some reason. Can anyone help please. Thanks again. MadTrooper. Quote
Snacko Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I installed that about 2 months ago and got it to work once. Quote
MadTrooper Posted September 4, 2008 Author Posted September 4, 2008 Thanks Snacko, I will get rid of it. I've installed Mission Mate but didn't have time to play with it. Is it good you think? I got the latest version of the program that is compatible with the mods. Thanks. MadTrooper Quote
CrazySchmidt Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Thanks Snacko, I will get rid of it. I've installed Mission Mate but didn't have time to play with it. Is it good you think? MadTrooper Hi MadTrooper, Mission Mate is quite diverse for a IL-2 QM Builder but does require a little time with the help file to get the best results. If you feel you need help to get it going, please just drop me a line @ missionmate@ihug.co.nz and I will help you to get going no problem at all, happy to help. Cheers, CrazySchmidt. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I had the same problem with QMT version 2.05. It works fine in my back up computer but not my main one. FT tried to fix it by remote assistance and he and I also posted in M4 today but couldn't find a solution. Eventually I was able to find a copy of an older version 2.02 and that worked fine. If you want a copy of 2.02, I could email to you Mad Trooper. And welcome to our Forum Crazy Schmidt. An honour to have you visit us sir. Quote
Shift_E Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Hello Guys, I just updated QMT and hope it will fix the issue you are seeing. If not I'll work to correct it. Here's the link to download it if you want it Quick Mission Tuner. -Shift_E Quote
Blairgowrie Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Thank you Shift E. I will download it now. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Afraid it still gives me the same game path error. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Windows XP Home and have recently reformatted. Quote
Shift_E Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Ok, I've just checked the code and I'm looking for a file called 'conf.ini' and in that file I'm looking for this: [il2] title=Il2-Sturmovik Forgotten Battles If you don't have this maybe I need a different check. Let me know. Quote
Shift_E Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I changed the check here's a new file you can place in the QMT folder Mission Tuner exe. Try that and if that solves the problem, I'll create a new install. Quote
Shift_E Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I can't see it I get this in the post: [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] I do believe the '1' before [1l2] is what is giving you all the problems. Take the one out of the file to read: [il2] title=Il2-Sturmovik Forgotten Battles and I think you'll be up and running. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Try it again. I have made you an honorary Danger Dogz. Quote
Shift_E Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Yes, I can read it now. ) I answered in the post before, but if you take the '1' out of the first line to read: [il2] title=Il2-Sturmovik Forgotten Battles I think it will solve your problems. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 You were right. That solved the issue. Version 2.06 now has my seal of approval. Thank you sir. I love your program and use it all the time for hosting coops. Quote

BadAim Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 I'll be trying this out first chance I get. Thanks Mate. Big Salute for you. Quote
BadAim Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Oh, yeah. Works like a charm on win7 too. This will be sooooooo helpful. Quote
delta7 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Shift_E is a good guy and in addition to the mission tuner developed a Voice Activated Control program which is excellent. You can operate ant key press by voice command only e.g. drop flaps , cockpit open etc. It is paticularly immersive for talking to the AI instead of having to use the menus See he has a nice shiney and professional looking site here Quote
T_O_A_D Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Shift_E and VAC are the bomb!!!!!! Been using it, since its release. Quote
Shift_E Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I love the Il2 community there is a great sense of camaraderie. Thanks guys, -Shift_E Quote
