2. Administrators Jabo Posted June 7, 2015 2. Administrators Posted June 7, 2015 I've had a very pleasant morning as a guest of TFC at Duxford getting a tour of the hangar with the chief engineer with the opportunity to get really up close and personal with the fleet. I've probably found out more about maintaining and operating historic aircraft this morning than in my previous 40-something years - here's some pictures of the highlights. Jabo Quote

Oh, maybe not... as there were others of us with us and shift... Still, grand show you lucky b*gger, and thanks so much for sharing them pics! Quote
DD_Arthur Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 What a great day! Great piccies too Some questions; a) Wot plane are you sitting in Wot's that gorgeous bi-plane c) Any news on engines for the Beaufighter? Quote
2. Administrators Jabo Posted June 8, 2015 Author 2. Administrators Posted June 8, 2015 Thanks chaps. Arthur - I'm sat in TF-51 "Miss Velma", the biplane is a Beech Staggerwing, and there is progress on the beaus engines, as some early Bristol Hercules engines are starting to turn up in New Zealand - TFC are yet to acquire any but things are looking up.
