This is a 1/48 Phantom, one of 4 'Vandy' aircraft used for weapons testing. Liked the all-black colour scheme. This is 'Vandy 1' Can't decide whether cockpit canopies are going in up or down position yet....... All stencilling are individual decals. Kept me entertained for some hours Weathering has got me a little perplexed as I haven't weathered anything black yet. Perhaps light grey wash in the sunken panel lines...need to experiment a little. BadAim Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 I've seen guys use jewelers rouge to spectacular effect. I particularly remember a 1/32 Storch that really had glass that looked like glass. I suspect that it was much more work than I'd be willing to do............ Quote
