  1. As a curtosy, Ill get in touch with kristorf and make sure he is ok with me distributing it to the squad as it is his skin but dont see there being a problem as it was requested by me and I supplied the details of how I wished it to appear- if this is ok I will send it to rog tonight when I get home and he can post it on the site for anyone who wants to use it.
  2. Put out a request for a skin and kristorf made this for me- Its P/o mortons plane from 603 (city of edinburgh) squadron the scheme was used during the BoB and adapted for a IXe that I fly a lot online
  3. mine - ( yep Im a seagull)
  4. yep Quazi cunninly disguises his steely killer instincts behind that sloooooooow southern drawl and he can take most planes right to the edge - I wouldnt play pool or poker with him either
  5. you could always take them to an auction house to get them valued, most have experts which will check the value and give a sale estimate. You would get the gold value at a pawnbrokers but as doubletap states they "might" be worth more than just the gold value
  6. Jensenpark - wow Iv never flown the AI planes thats impressive mate- please just stick me in a flyable aircraft as part of your team tho -Id prefer the wildcat fighter or if you have too many fighter jocks Ill take a spd if needed as I can just about groundpound.
  7. TY- I already use ATItool and have fan at max constantly. the problem dissapeared when I run the game in the same resolution as desktop so I just stick to this now . the only problems I have sen were the black sky when on a server with me262s on them but I can live with that
  8. Thanks again for all your hard work I am dayshift on the 15th and 16th so can only guarentee to make the first mission ( although VERY likley I will bite the bullett and fly both) I would like to fly red on this one if possible mate but I will make up numbers if blue is short - no problems either way
  9. Muahahahahaha another convert Sorry mate dont know the secret but I always take water with my whisky. I like it with about 1/2 whisky and 1/2 water , like yourself without the water I find it is too sharp. Water seems to release some of the aroma and flavour for me . . the malts you had a taste off are quite mellow, the island malts like talisker and laphroig are more peaty - my wife says they smell like medicine
  10. last night was one of the best - great turnout and different missions and I thought I was going to wet myself laughing at the TB3 mission and at enforcer trying to shoot down VT and then those I-16 ratas- as Quazi said it must be the best therapy available for free.

  17. Saturdays are not really suitable for me so I prefer the standard friday nights- obviously one I aint working so I can join in the fun. Im willing to substitute a normal sunday co-op night for these DF matches every now and again but dont know if majority agree. anyway as long as Im off then Ill be there with 2100-0100 GMT the most suitable.

    Im Back

thanks for the warm welcome- I was very rusty last night- in the 1st mission I survived around 5 mins before ripping my wings off in a dive still I had good fun and a memorable dogfight with bg in biplanes - excellent flying by BG last night he nailed me good a few times. anyway I should get some practice in before thursday but the standard around here keeps getting better so Ill need it

    Im Back

Back from hols- managed to get to duxford and had a flight in a tiger moth - great fun - will post pics later- should be able to make it for some flying tonight
  20. nice find mate - deflection and lead can be calculated by knowing mozzle velocity - see here http://www.airwarfare.com/guides/deflection_guide.htm where he gives examples of difference between 30mm and .50 s I dont know who can do this in a dogfight situation but will give people a rough idea for increasing/decreasing lead depending on type of gun they are shooting with - bloody zeros need about 2 times normal lead - or just get in CLOSER I suppose
  21. early zeros cannons do it too - I cant hit shit with them - the later ones had german mg20mms
  22. dont be hard on yourself mate - it is a very very hard job to lead a side and you didnt have a lot of time. As usual everything went very fast during the missions and thats the toughest thing - to keep track and to make changes in planning if and when needed , add to this the fact you are flying and engaging bandits yourself and its a tough balancing act. the main thing is that people had fun - which we did-and we all look forward to the next encounter. ~s~
  23. Thanks mate - its obvious you put a lot of time and effort into this-its appreciated
