  1. Good story Tom Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  2. Used an X52 Pro for a long time then switched to a Sidewinder 2 FFB stick but retained the x52 throttle. Hopefully your x52 throttle is still OK so you could match that up with a MSFFB and have change from your $150! Jabo
  3. Early access! Huzzah! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  4. They certainly are Chris - as far as my opinion of Kermie is concerned though, the problem is not the guy himself, I have no problem with respecting warbird pilots - it's more about buying airworthy aircraft and allowing them to languish - the mossie hasn't flown in 20 years! and the Sunderland last flew in the 90's (details on this are more sketchy). If you're in a position to buy 'em, you could at least use 'em... Jabo
  5. Odd, didn't notice the 'i' or 'g' keys anywhere there.
  6. Here's another. Kitchen sink this time Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  7. Arthur has had a good result recently when after changing the mobo, windows 7 sorted the drivers and everything out for him but I suggest that before you start taking anything to pieces, please ensure that you have backed up any important data and that you've uninstalled any mobo drivers too. Then put the new board in, reconnect the psu and any other hardware, then boot into windows. Pop the mainboard driver disk in and install the driver pack for the new board and you should be good to go. If it craps out well, you've backed everything up so reinstall windows and you're away. 8. Just my personal opinion Rox, but I'd stay away from asus boards, I had lots of trouble with my last one. Now using the gigabyte ga-z77-ds3h. Supports sata 3, usb 3, has a suitable slot for your gfx card, runs rock solid and overclocks just as easily as the asus. Team that with an I5 processor (make sure it's a 'k' series if you want to overclock - sandybridge is the 2500k, newer ivybridge is the 3570k). I'd also consider at least one new hdd, 7 years plus is quite a good age if you're using the machine regularly. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  9. Sooooo, what happened? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  10. I'm considering supporting DCS too, but not flush enough to do both in the same month so will hold off until November. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  11. OK, I give in, I've pushed the pre order button now. Looking forward to getting a preview of this. Interestingly, I see that instead of getting a box with a tea towel in it, I now get a little yellow jpg. Wtg jabo. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  12. Regrettably, I never got around to making either purchase last night so I'll have to wait for the next sale.
  13. Will be picking up the Huey and possibly the Mi-8 tomorrow - steep learning curve ahead so I'm up for this. As long as it doesn't conflict with scheduled IL-2 nights. Jabo

    Happy Birthday

Happy birthday m8 - if you're flying tonight you might get a singsong!
  15. Planning a late raid on this - don't get paid til Friday
  16. Think there's additional aircraft & some additional weapons snacko Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  17. I'd be inclined to agree I think Arjen. Like you say though, this is pretty unusual for Windows 7. I'm pretty careful to label my drives when I install them, so if I boot from the windows 7 disk, I can see the drive labels and that tells me what needs to go where. Have you done that Dave? It might help you find the boot drive. Jabo

    Ww2 Europe 44

I think that's worth venturing a few dollars.
  19. Sadly, the rumours appear to be true. According to this month's 'Flypast' magazine, P-47G 'Snafu' has been purchased by a private owner in California. Looks like her sortie to the US is a one-way trip On the other hand, what will TFC do with all that extra space in Hangar 2? Jabo
  20. Thanks chaps - good to finally get a couple of missions in, my flying time of late has been on the limited side. Erm...Sea trout Chris? Jabo
  21. A lesson for us all there I think! Lol, thanks cap'n Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
  22. Thanks for that Bongo, although if your contact does come up with anything, wr should discuss that in the private areas of the forum. Would hate to see someone get into trouble for passing on information.
  23. What cooling are you using Arthur? stock air?
  24. I'm out - absolutely no way I can do the 6th - weekend before or after is fine but not that one as I'm off on holiday on the 5th. Sorry Jabo
  25. ooo, ooo, anyone up for a Blenhamster/Beaufighter pair? OK, strictly neither have been seen in the air for a while, but we do see them annually all the same! mmm big Bristols, mmm... Unless I can only have one aircraft at this shindig (sad face) Jabo
