  1. @ Snacko - Well, I think the main question is 'how' as in how do I do this? I've got an idea that I want something that looks like an annunciator panel, but rather than just being warning lights they're actually toggle buttons. and on a screen this size probably a grid 5 x 3 would give a sensible button size. Something like this; Obviously the buttons would say different things. Thoughts? @Fruity - this your free one Kev?
  2. Simples really Gec, all I did was to install VNC on my desktop and a free VNC app on the Galaxy (all password protected) and then shared my second monitor output with the Galaxy with Touchbuddy running in a window on that second monitor. Then just enable mouse control on the Galaxy (via VNC) and hey presto! the Galaxy touchscreen allows me to click on buttons on the touchbuddy application! It's all pretty slick but so far I don't have any buttons mapped to IL-2 - That's the next step. The only downside is that my second monitor cannot be used for anything else while running TB but it's no real problem. I'm thinking that this may be the answer to my switchbox problems on RoF and BoS but I'll keep you posted I'm also considering a cheap android tablet so I get a bigger screen and it frees up my phone at the same time. 3. If I'm lucky it won't be the furniture. Soooo, with all the discussions here about cockpits and rigs and so on, it got me thinking. 'How cool would it be if I could set my Galaxy S3 up as a touchbuddy screen and then I could use that instead of my switchbox. And guess what? After some googling and a lot of trial and error I've got it working! Now all I need to do it figure out how to build a profile for it - SNACKO!!! HELP!!!! Jabo
  4. No worries Fritzl, it's all cool. @FT - I must be part German - it's the over-engineering...
  5. Hi Fritzl - please check the following; In the 'Settings' section, does 'IL2 Modded is in' point to your installation you want to work with? And does 'Check Against' say HSFX 7.0.1? (in the green boxes) Try again after checking. If it's not that, let us know and we'll probably need to get FT on the case. +++EDIT+++ Hah, you beat me to the punch Arjen!
  6. That thread's been moved FT - here's the link Fritzl - http://dangerdogz.com/forums/topic/11154-installing-hsfx-7-the-easy-way/
  7. Waaah!
  8. Your ten minutes is up Colin. Unfortunately Overdhill, because the thread is in the private section of the forum your link will just throw up an permission error if people aren't already logged into the forum. Tell you what, I'll move the thread into the public section and if you then edit your post at the other site to include the new link. Jabo EDIT: Here's the new link http://dangerdogz.com/forums/topic/11154-installing-hsfx-7-the-easy-way/ I'd add it to the HLP forum for you myself but apparently according to their registration process I'm a spammer - which I take significant umbridge at.
  9. ~S~ Fritzl, welcome back.
  10. This is my setup OverDhill; http://dangerdogz.com/forums/topic/10929-switchbox-mk3/?p=112712 The three knobs you can see in the photos control the three trim axes, pitch, yaw and roll. Prop ptich, mixture and rad control have been assigned on my stick and throttle. The 9 pin connector is for my rudder pedals. And here is the bodnar board I'm using; http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67&products_id=180 Any questions, feel free to holler. Jabo

    Saitek X55 Rhino?

I like it too, especially the throttle unit. Wonder if it will be possible to buy that separately. Probably not
  16. In Lego! Seriously, what's not to love? With a wingspan of half a metre and nearly 900 parts this has kept me occupied for a couple of days - total build time was about 10 hours.
  17. Same to you and yours Dave & to all the dogz a very happy Christmas! <br /><br />Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk<br /><br />
  18. Perhaps this is a cultural thing. Is it customary in Croatia not to wish people a Happy Christmas etc in the run up to the actual day? Rest easy though mate, you've not slept through it!
  19. You're welcome Asas.
  20. I see you got your good side there Dom. Lol Happy Christmas mate. Jabo

  22. No worries matey. @Arthur - living the good life I see?
  23. Hop onto TS Adrian and we'll get you sorted out. If necessary we can fix it online via teamviewer or something - I'll go make a coffee and then jump on.
  24. Try my conf.ini OT - it's got the setting you're having problems with conf.ini
