Got it loading but sticks around 80% when I try to launch any missions - unchecked grass and it works but its a slllliiiiidddddeeee ssshhhhoooowwww oh well looks like Ill need to upgrade to even play it

Installed, steam updated, sucessfully activated , clicked play and nothing no splash screen , nothing - bugger !!!!

Crashing is usually due to overheating or less likely a poor memory stick Depending on your motherboard you usually have sensors that monitor procesor temp and graphics card temp so check and see if there is a utility on your PC that you can run to see if the temp spikes prior to the crash. There is freeware programs on the net such as a program called motherboard monitor that does the same thing A good clean out will help - Pcs clog up a lot with dust - switch off, remove power cord, take off the side panel and use a hairdrier set to cold to blow the dust out then try again - BE CAREFULL - if you short out the components -by touching them when not earthed- it will be expensive although I have never done this in 10 years For your memory there is a program called memtest run this to check your memory is ok- if not then get some new memory crucial are good they check your pc and recommend the correct memory to add

Steam must have improved , I had no end of trouble with it and half life. I can understand them wanting to use it as an antipiracy measure but I prefer a good old hard copy on dvd

IMHO The clip is better but not WOW THIS IS FANTASTIC great and the extra leads can be a hassle sometimes as they tangle up with your headphones leads but its less than the price of a tank of petrol

I have 2 scoobies , both imprezas , one old shape and one new shape and they are great cars. 4WD makes all the difference and the newer one has a low gear ratio selector for slippery conditions which helped this winter. A bit expensive to service them as they only hold their value here with authorised dealer stamp but I would certainly recommend them

Im not sure if I can afford this right away Im on what is probably minimum specs just now - dual core 2.6 pentium, 8800GT card and 2GB ram with windows XP reading the info available so far I will probably need the game, new graphics card, more memory and windows 7 64 to get it to run so thats around £250 , then there is the hassle of a new Operating System install so Ill wait until I see how others get on and see what I need to upgrade to get decent results
