here are my x-45 profile and some documents to explain the way I laid them out . The x-52 one is better so you might wan to try to map this, but note some of the controls in the game arnt at default so you will have to watch that the key press matches what you want to do x-45.rar

I have spent all day on this and now have it set up so mode1 is preflight mode 2 is flight mode 3 is bombing Now I just have to remember them all, but shouldnt be too bad as most are similar to my old set up but cleaned up I will type up a word document with my settings and post them , there is still a lot of unused buttons waiting to be used and I havnt explored the function setup yet

well have fought with this all day but it seems to be sorted- the software was hanging when I used the mouse wheel on the throttle, I have disabled this and it seems to be ok, hope to make it tonight

Hi could folk please post their x-52 profiles and settings here so I can compaire them to my current set up, Im sur eyou guys will have it more optimised than I have , having had more time with the stick thanks for any help Dave

Well got my profiles loaded,first impressions is that it is very light compaired to my oldstick, i will need to adjust all my settings

x-52 has arrived , I will be trying to program it tonight and should be ok for saturday night

thanks guys, Id love a full ch setup, I have the peddles, but cant afford the throttle and stick. Ill order the 52 tonight and hopefully it will be here soon.

I had to bail last night as my joystick has died on me. My faithful old x-45 is spiking like crazy and I cant settle it down, fortunatlely Iv been good so Santa says I can get a new one early. recommendations please - X-52 is what Im leaning towards

If I'm not working I'd like to take part but hope it's not full real, too much work, I prefer having the minimap with my wee White plane

I havnt tried the game in ages, I didnt manually add any of the patches butsince the update I thought I would check it out and now my game isnt working due to launcher.exe crashes. sometimes it is at the launch of the game and sometimes I can get into the game and select a mission but when it has completed the loading bar and about to launch it crashes. I have searched the net but cant find a definitive answer , so far I have tried 1) varifying steam files 2) removing and reinstalling game using steam 3) removing config file from mydocuments/1csoftclub/il2-sturmovich cliffs of dover and steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover 4)cleared cache nothing works does anyone here know of anything I can do to try to get this POS to work? I am running windows 7 64 and nvidea460 graphics and it ran ok previously EDIT updated the dotnetfx40 and this helped launch game set everything in graphics to low and missions now launch, I am working up the settings to see what I can use

I dont know a lot about them but that looks ok to me, Let me know how you get on , Im going to ask Santa for a new airbrush this christmas

A few things to read that will help you get set up and started http://www.mission4t...op=show&kid=431 there is a set of missions for practicing takeoff and landings here - you have to register on the site to be able to download http://www.mission4t...details&id=2147 this is a zip file, The word document gives a good breif and you Install the "Straight_From_the_Farm" folder into your Missions\Campaign\UN folder Install the Practice folder in your Missions\Single\UN folder
