I have installed Clod on my new Pc and it seems to run fine apart from some control issues- fixed I had the realism settings turned down so couldnt use some of the engine management controls - fixed now

I found my install disc after ripping the place apart but it didnt work so I reinstalled latest drivers with joystick in different usb port and seems better will test again tomorrow

Colin I think the profile software might be the same it is called smart technology or SST and I need any older version. If you could have a look and upload it I would be grateful Sid I dont have any other controller software and I didnt have the same problem with tthe older version of SST so Im hoping it is as simple as replacing this thanks for input guys S

Hi all I installed the latest profiller software 7.0.27.13. for my X-52 and it has severe problems by causing certain button presses to constantly repeat. I have searched the web and its a known issue and one solution is to use older software 6.6.6.9 I have lost my installation disk and didnt back these up and cant find them on the web so I was wondering if anyone could post these into the vault so I could try them and see if they work If not Ill have to go and input everything into the game itself which is a pain thanks Dave

Im afraid thats all I can budget for just now so Ill see how it goes Iv only a 22 inch monitor so max res is 1680 *1050 . I still play il2 at 1024*768 as I can see the dots better at this resolution so its only the other games I have to worry about. Ill overclock the fecker and see what it gives and if its still shite then Ill put a better one in next year. Thanks for all your help Dave

was considering getting this when I upgrade my pc but I am not willing to spunk another load of cash on a flight sim after BoB which looks incomplete and the devs attitude does not help. forums are a clusterfuck , reminds me of the worst times at ubizoo, but then again certain folk are involved that would almost guarantee this IMHO. One positive is that there are a lot of old names and squads on there from warclouds etc but I noticed that the dangerdogz hadnt posted in the squadron forum, I know we dont fly this but a heads up of the squadron might attract some interest from folk still flying IL2 and waiting till this settles out to a more finished product.
