I have a copy of my old setup and want to copy this to my new PC to save me hassle of assigning all controls again Is there any recommended setting for nvidea cards ? Thanks colin but there is no installer included, just the manuals and a few shortcuts

Colin I think the profile software might be the same it is called smart technology or SST and I need any older version. If you could have a look and upload it I would be grateful Sid I dont have any other controller software and I didnt have the same problem with tthe older version of SST so Im hoping it is as simple as replacing this thanks for input guys S

Hi all I installed the latest profiller software 7.0.27.13. for my X-52 and it has severe problems by causing certain button presses to constantly repeat. I have searched the web and its a known issue and one solution is to use older software 6.6.6.9 I have lost my installation disk and didnt back these up and cant find them on the web so I was wondering if anyone could post these into the vault so I could try them and see if they work If not Ill have to go and input everything into the game itself which is a pain thanks Dave

Im afraid thats all I can budget for just now so Ill see how it goes Iv only a 22 inch monitor so max res is 1680 *1050 . I still play il2 at 1024*768 as I can see the dots better at this resolution so its only the other games I have to worry about. Ill overclock the fecker and see what it gives and if its still shite then Ill put a better one in next year. Thanks for all your help Dave

was considering getting this when I upgrade my pc but I am not willing to spunk another load of cash on a flight sim after BoB which looks incomplete and the devs attitude does not help. forums are a clusterfuck , reminds me of the worst times at ubizoo, but then again certain folk are involved that would almost guarantee this IMHO. One positive is that there are a lot of old names and squads on there from warclouds etc but I noticed that the dangerdogz hadnt posted in the squadron forum, I know we dont fly this but a heads up of the squadron might attract some interest from folk still flying IL2 and waiting till this settles out to a more finished product.

Im looking to upgrade soon, looked at overclockers,pcspecialist,chilliblast etc but was wondering if anyone in uk had recommended suppliers? budget is around £550 and 90% used for il2 but I also like Operation Flashpoint ,DIRT and Tombraider series . Would have to be able to run new BoS as well as I plan to get this sometime any help appreciated

Thanks snacko Communication has been problem i screwed up thinking hotel had free wi fi and I only have iPod for comms Ny is fabulous but my poor feet Hurt with all the sightseeing

I can access internet very rarely as wifi is extorsionate at hotel so need to find access in cafes etc and it keeps dropping out there

We are going to NY for 6 days next month so any info, hints and tips on places to visit , things to do etc to make it an enjoyable holiday would be appreciated. For some good old fashioned arcade fun at only a couple of quid - Steam have released an updated version of Colin McRae rally . Its a port of the mobile version - not a release of the old PC game but still good fun. The original game is what got me into Subarus and motorsport and a lot of happy hours trying to shave fractions of a second of my best times
