GreyKnight Posted September 17, 2008 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Chaps, I'm trying to make a movie from the BoB tracks, and I'm trying to remove all icons and any text on the screen. I created a new mp_dotrange file and set nearly all the relevant entries to 0.0, but that didn't work. So then I set them to 0.1, but still no joy. Anyone help? For text, this can be done in the conf.ini file under "viewHUD", I think. Alternatively, for both and more, instal "IL2 Stab" - a very useful programme that allows many conf changes without opening up the files. I generally toggle my icons off regardless of server settings, unless I start hearing people calling me out, on my 6 and what have ya, so I toggle them on only to aid in the teamwork aspect of the mission. What program and filter did you use for your movie. I think its perfect for guncam stuff. Administrators Share Posted April 2, 2010 only just seen this thread, don't know if you know, but i've got a little mod, which removes icons from any track (and game) when enabled, regardless of in game icon settings. Just make sure it has a - in front of its name, when flying with tags, ore you will be handicapped. it removes them all the time, not just in ntrk's I found this out the hard way, and let trout hose me.
