DeadMeat Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 I went to an airshow in Roseburg Orgeon, little while back, and finally got the pics off my camera. It was a pretty rinky-dink airshow, no acrobatics at all, just flyby's. And if you had $750 you could get a flight in a P51. There were some very cool Aircraft there tho.... The B25 didnt fly $75 bucks got you a ride in a Steerman There was a Bristol Scout on display. There was a F4U A F5F Hellcat A Hawker Fury, BIG LOUD Engine on this one. Felt it all the way down to my nads when it started. A Spitfire, and sad to say I dont know which model. The pilot was kind enough to let me cross the barrier to take a pic of the cockpit. He WAS NOT kind enough to let me sit in it or fly it tho..... There were 4 P51's there this one was my favorite. Cause when he did flyby's he was lowwwww One of the others landing A small quicktime Movie( all my camra takes ), about 5mb- 14secs, of 2 mustangs flying by very low and close . No sound. http://rapidshare.com/files/54169318/P1010069.MOV.html Here they are all together The Hawker and Spit together A cool rotary engine Of course any Airshow close to the coast, the Coast Guard is allways there. The first pic, if you look close enough you'll see debris floating around. I took that pic with no zoom at all, he was about 20 ft up, and then he slipped to within 20 ft or so of Quote
