Blairgowrie Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Thought I would try my hand at building a small dock for Pond #2. Quote
JensenPark Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 " Helen applied some natural stain and tomorrow the screwing starts. " Ok, surely I'm not the first to notice this? Quote

BBloke Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Sounds like a fine way to test the sturdiness of the planks!!! Quote
JensenPark Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Apparently DD_Fireman came by and pushed the piles in with his bare hands. Quote

JensenPark Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 You know, I just read the entire Webster's Dictionary, and I don' think there is a single word or phrase you lot cannot pervert and make into sexual innuendo. Well done troops! Quote
BBloke Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I was thinking more "squealing when he passed a knot!" Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 18, 2007 Author Posted August 18, 2007 Finally finished and ready for Mobius's Donzi Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 18, 2007 Author Posted August 18, 2007 Started this new project at 9am this morning. The dude in the white hat is my next door neighbour Bruce who does the maple syrup amongst other things. This is outside our master bedroom walkout. The bricks were a freebie from Helen's girlfriend. Sand from my gravel pit and the wood from the sawmill. Quote
DD_Bucky Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Good stuff Jim.Way to have other people do the work...hmmm thought your husky would be bigger. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 19, 2007 Author Posted August 19, 2007 That's just my limber Bucky. It is a 46cc. I use the 72cc for the big stuff. Quote
JensenPark Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Great project Jim. Nice score on the bricks...those ain't cheap. What's the time line? Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 What you see was done in one day from 9am until 3pm. Finished up today in about 3hours. We still have enough bricks left over to do the entrance way. The couple we got them from didn't like the pattern so pulled them all up and replaced them with square jobbies. Quote
JensenPark Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I think it is cute how you have nicknames for your indentured slaves servants, like "neighbour" and "helen". Quote
