Freshly refurbished and digitally restored for all to see here: https://film.iwmcollections.org.uk/

There are some gems in there, including this remarkable footage of Typhoon operations, including a crash landing and a crew-less Liberator performing an aerial ballet before smashing down to earth: http://film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/638

Thanks Chris, great stuff!

Footage of low level strikes... rather spectacular

http://film.iwmcollections.org.uk/record/2027

And at 3:11, low level deflection shooting -> 190 on fire :o

00:04:19 [OPF 277. 17th April 1945] Shots showing four de Havilland Mosquito F.B. Mk VI light bombers belonging to RAF 487 Squadron flying at very low level over the North Sea on the camera aircraft's port side; on the starboard side, another Mosquito is seen flying about 80 feet above the waves

Lol, you're choice of that film wouldn't have anything to do with it opening with footage of 320 Sqn Mitchells now would it FT...? ;)

Wow!!!  What an astonishing resource:salute:.

Just a quick bit of browsing found this gem;

https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/1060035427?_ga=2.131680719.1125073469.1520445709-209545947.1520445709

The commentary is very period, very Cholmondley-Warner but an amazing documentary film.  it has an almost dream-like quality to it.
