Turning off the shadows, while being one of the nicest pieces of eyecandy, does ruin framerates, turn it off and you should get a significant (talking 20+ fps here) boost. The shadows of trees and buildings is what really ruin you FPS. Still they are getting there. WIth a bit more multicore support and the game should run fine.

Graphic Bug?

That isn't a graphic bug, that is the waypoint for the training missions, it tells you were to taxi and where to fly in the training scenarios. -
You have to love online shopping, you don't even have to wear trousers!

Xp does work, but it relies on DirectX 9, a lot of the effects the game uses are directX 10 based (introduced with vista). The game runs, but not well and does not look as good. A cheap fix is just to get a Windows 7 OEM license and do a dualboot. XP is dying soon anyway, it is almost 10 years old now. -

I'll guide you through it MT, most of the planes are fairly similar, just different parameters for temperatures and engine settings. Most of the commands can be labeled to the keyboard, but I prefer to click some stuff. You can press F10 to toggle the clickable pit.

I have a pretty OK training mission, with both aerial and ground targets. Just pick a date and I'll fly with you. You could always add me on Steam and send me a message.

Ok MT, I can do a tutorial for you on TS, or I can write it up. Easier if I can guide you throught it. Every aircraft has it's own startup procedure.

The final patches are automatic BG, just launch steam and click CloD and it automatically updates the game for you.

try the torrent, worked for me, the mediafire screwed my game.

Since the patch came out, they made these mods superfluous, they pretty much added the contents of these mods to the game.
