  1. Hello, I have just been given a PC which I intend to let my daughet use for her homework in the bedroom (no internet connection though, I'm not silly) The monitor it came with is an 15/17" CRT which is huge. Does anyone have an old 15 / 17" flat screen kicking around that they want to sell? I would rather go here first and buy from someone I can trust, rather than try e-bay, which will probably be my next move. Cheers Friar
  2. Ok, thats for this. I will leave the starting altitude at 3000m. Unless both pilots spawn at exactly the same time (which I very much doubt will ever happen) this wont be a problem. Both players can climb to 3000m and wait until both parties say they are ready. I will include something about this in the official rules post.
  3. I have just posted on the mission builders forum at the zoo, but Chris has probably pre-empted any responce I will get. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc& ... 9201036666
  4. What ever you can achieve. I would have been quite happy with players taking off from the same airfield and then flying to pre-agreed points on the map before turning to start the engagement when both were ready.
  5. my imaginary friend wont talk to me....
  6. He may not be as pretty as Archer Girl, but what a shot.....
  7. @ Gman - I knew we are a kindred spirit - I got the lear Jet too.

  12. Red Lion Food Details Says they serve it on the weekend from 8:30. So as long as we are ready for an 8:30 sit down we should not get into Duxford too late
  13. I hope your protecting it, you dont want Painless any old riff-raff getting in.

  15. .Sounds like a plan to me. Whats this "possibly" with Klinger. Tell him to put down his chisel and nail gun and get his arse to Duxford. I need to meet the legend that is Klinger
  16. No JP, Just the saturday. I have to get home on sunday (as does painless I believe). It was mentioned that a trip to RAF Hendon which is on the outskirts of london might be possible, but you will need to plan how to get back to where your staying (if the plan to go home with Painless is now not going to happen)
  17. i would go with netgear. i have one and recently installed one for a friend. plugged in, configured and connected, easy. I have a DG834G V2
  18. the only other i suppose would be realistic gunnery. with that off its like firing lazers.
  19. Something I once did was to build a co-op on the map you want for a dogfight, I am sure that the spawn points would be the same. Plot flights of large AI planes ie he111, b25's, or me323(?) 4 engine jobbie,
  20. ref unlimited ammo, have you got your difficulty settings right?
  21. Cheers Chris, It gives me a few things to go on.
  22. Guys, Below is the contents of an email I received today from a friend who has a Vista machine. Hi Colin, Sorry to bother you but I've a technical problem with my PC. This weekend I've been unable to receive mail in Windows Mail and as I'm now officially "out of work" I do want to ensure that I receive all email from the agencies. The error message is An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'BT Total Broadband', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x80004005 I've phoned BT as I assumed it was to do with the Broadband. They took control of the PC and confirmed that all settings are OK. They went through to a Windows Technical support which found this response Problems with Runtime 0x80004005 Error? Cause: Runtime 0x80004005 errors usually are caused by misplacement or a broken system registry structure. Note: This is also a critical sign of an unstable system that is usually caused by improper maintenance of the computer They didn't want to run the fix in case it creates other problems. I hope you are able to help. Thanks Jan I have had a quick look in google but its seems that it could be many different things, any offers?
  23. All these "crashes", I hope you all have insurance
  24. Excellent Glenn, thanks for sharing.
