what about choice of OS... stick with xp pro or go the vista route, if so which flavour...home, home prem, 32bit, 64 bit ?.. I can this developing into a confusing thread..........

Yesterday, whilst disscussing the family financial situation and other thinks, I happened to comment to my wife about the age of our system and the problems we have been having (blue screens and freezes, also the printer is starting to die) and that I may have to do a re, ref, (come on friar you can say it, deep breath now......) reformat, there, I said it!, bless her cotten socks she says "could you get a new one?", "oh" says me, "I suppose we could.........." So the point of this rambling post is, do any of the UK guys know of any good packages / can offer a good reccomendations to a machine/package that would give me a new flat screen (of decent size), printer, and good machine for gaming, before I start trawling the net.....oh, and the budget £1000!!

negative on the sst software. the latest version of the sst software generates a .pr0 extension and is not compatable with the previous version that has the 3d image. The latest version only has a table and NO graphic image. If you migrate from the 3d image version to the the latest one, you WILL have to remap you keys on the x52. Friar

Hi guys, sorry i have not been around much but my new job is keeping me busy and I have not got into a routine that gives me flying time yet. My daughter has come home with some maths homework that i dont know how to do...... Its quite simple (if you know how)..all we have to do is find the tan, cos and sin of some angles in degrees. I remeber "silly old harry can always have tow of anything" silly old harry :sin=opposite over hypotenues can always have: cosine=adjcent over hypotenuse etc.. i have found a web site that does the conversion for us but i want her to know how to do it on a scientific calculator if we have 7degrees, the converter gave us tan: 0.1228, cos: 0.9925 and sin: 0.1218 but what do we put into the calculator if i enter "tan(7)" i get 0.87144, so i gues thats not all there is to it? any pointers or clues welcome calculator is a casio fx-85ES (i have looked at the manual but could not find anything) Cheers guys Friar
