  2. Salute Sir! Many happy returns of the day.
  3. for tir4 re-centre i have the lefthand hat on the joystick at the up position. i am sure that when assigning the key in the tir software, it recognized the key press from the joystick.

  7. No, lights are still on their own key, I had already thought of that one !
  8. For those of you that are wise to the wonders of sst programming please excuse someone who is just finding it out for the first time.
  9. @Greenstreaks, if you really do need to find where some of the dials are, have a look on disc 2 of the 1946 set. On there you will find a pdf document which has all the cockpits and a layout guide. Cheers Friar

  16. How does 2pm Central, 8pm GMT sound for anybody Meet on team speak, if others are flying we can always use one of the other rooms.
  17. i could be persuaded to be naughty with her if she insisted.....
  18. whats central to gmt, then perhaps we can work something out that suits us both. once you have got the basics, and it wont take long, you will see what the fmb has to offer.
  19. If there is anyone who has never dabbled with the FMB and is interested to see what it is all about, I would be happy to hold a begginers class on Saturday evening for a while. The FMB is a great tool for knocking up little missions that can be flown like the Quick Mission Builder. Except that you have a wider choice of maps and scenarios that be pre-programed.
  20. I have been looking into using the sst software, to see what effect it has on my game and machine, and to see if the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Am I correct in thinking that i need to assign a keyboad command to all the functions in game first, then using the sst software, assign these keys to the stick? I downloaded the il2 profile form the saitek webside and this is what it seemed to suggest. Cheers Colin.
  21. I can't believe I am going to post this, but here goes.... Should that not be a seafury?, rather than a seafire? yep your right mate.....Dohhh silly me
